Beloved Star Quits Kyle & Jackie O Show for Shocking New Career!

On a startling note, the Kyle & Jackie O Show experienced a significant event during their airtime on Thursday when a cherished celebrity decided to part ways with the show unexpectedly.

Lachlan Mansell, the studio producer, informed Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson that he was stepping down from his position.

In simpler terms, Kyle announced that one of the show’s participants from last year on Channel Nine’s Beauty and the Geek, Lachlan, has decided to step down and is no longer part of the show officially. This was the person known as ‘The Geek.’

Lachlan went on to reveal his exciting new career move.  

‘My new title is Head of Motorsport for One Raceway, a motor racing circuit!’ he explained.

‘I’ll be coordinating events and overseeing the media and PR for them.’ 

Kyle and Jackie told Lachlan they were sad to see him go and wished him all the best. 

‘He is going to pursue his passion and you can’t begrudge him for that,’ Jackie said. 

Pedro Vitola stepped down from his role on the KIIS FM breakfast show in August, following a seven-year tenure.

Pedro joined the show in 2017 after winning a listener contest for the ‘World’s Best Job’.

In 2020, he was promoted to senior producer before becoming executive producer in January 2023.

He chose to leave his position at KIIS FM to prioritize parenthood following the arrival of their new baby girl, Lucia, with his spouse Patty.

He expressed his gratitude for the extraordinary journey and thanked Kyle, Jackie, and everyone on the team for the chances they provided him with, as stated in his message.

My affection for that series knows no bounds, but my responsibilities as a father now take precedence. I’m thrilled about devoting more moments to my loved ones.

‘I’ll always be a fan and can’t wait to watch KJ smash Sydney and Melbourne!’

Tony Aldridge, KIIS Content Director, stated that Pedro has infused our program with remarkable enthusiasm. Although we will certainly miss him, we wholeheartedly endorse his choice to prioritize his family during this significant period.

Pedro left us only a week following the announcement that he and his spouse had welcomed their first-born baby into the world.

The executive producer revealed live on-air that his wife Patty had given birth to a healthy girl.

Kyle and Jackie O conversed with Pedro and Patty on the phone while they were caring for their newborn baby at the hospital.

Pedro exclaimed with a grin, “I’m absolutely amazed, I’ve never witnessed such an incredible sight before!” As he verified that his lovely companion had just delivered their baby.
