Helen Flanagan Lists £1.5M Home After Claiming Broke, Forced to Sell Designer Dressing Room Gems

Helen Flanagan has listed her “permanent residence” for sale at £1.5 million, apparently due to a significant reduction in her previously large fortune.

It seems she might need to bid farewell to her stunning collection of designer outfits, adorned with glamorous Chanel and YSL accessories.

After the celebrity confessed that she needed to sell her house due to financial struggles following her breakup with ex-fiance Scott Sinclair, she stated that she barely had enough cash for a £10 taxi ride to drop off her 3-year-old son Charlie at nursery.

A few days back, a spacious six-bedroom standalone house, located in a village near Bolton, was listed for sale.

The three-story home spans approximately 5,000 square feet and offers a stunning, well-maintained detached dwelling ideal for families.

Although Helen is currently facing tough times, the bedroom-cum-living room boasts an impressive collection of high-end designer handbags from brands like Chanel and YSL, along with stylish clothes and footwear that add a ‘wow’ factor, as described in the listing.

If the property, which was once owned by a former Coronation Street actor, is sold at close to its current asking price, they stand to make a considerable gain, as they had purchased it for £840,000 back in June 2021, based on land registry records.

The question at hand is: Who stands to gain from the profits, since records from the land registry, obtained by the Daily Mail back in January, show that the property is registered under the name of her former partner, a footballer named Scott.

Based on the pictures provided by the realtor, it seems that Helen may still reside there with her three kids, given the presence of their personal items in what appear to be their rooms.

The living room showcases a magnificent piano, and it’s equipped with six bathrooms, a custom-made kitchen complete with a breakfast bar, all featuring underfloor heating.

Two of the bedrooms also have their own en-suite bathrooms and living rooms.

Following her separation from Scott, Helen stated during a hearing regarding a traffic violation that she had been experiencing significant financial difficulties since earning a substantial amount through her role in Coronation Street and income generated by participating in various reality TV programs.

Last year, the net income of TopMob’s personal business came out to be approximately £75,616, which is a little over £5,000 higher than her projected earnings for this year (2023).

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement over my beloved firm, HJF Darling Ltd! Last year, we saw a remarkable boost in retained earnings, climbing from £70,070 to an impressive £75,615 – that’s a significant leap of £5,545! Retained earnings, as you might know, represent the company’s net income after subtracting all expenses and dividends. It’s truly heartening to witness such growth in our financial health!

Indeed, it also remitted £58,549 towards taxes and social security contributions, which encompasses VAT, PAYE, and NI. This implies that Helen likely has a substantial income.

Last year, the records show that Helen had no choice but to let go her sole employee who worked under her, since Helen is currently the sole director and worker within the company.

Although she asserted that she had no money and required her vehicle to transport her children in January, magistrates nevertheless imposed a six-month ban on her driving privileges.

She said: ‘I’m a single mum, I live in the middle of the moors.’

She mentioned that her role is primarily being a stay-at-home mother, and she has enough funds in her account to cover her taxes and VAT payments, with little else left over. Later on, she explained that she has sufficient money to pay taxes, mortgage installments, and for some groceries as well.

On The Declutter Hub podcast with Ingrid Jansen and Lesley Spellman, she made it clear a month ago that she intended to sell her property. Despite being described as down-to-earth, she emphasized that the process of moving would prove challenging for her.

Apart from disclosing that the house is currently listed for sale, she expressed her uncertainty about where she plans to relocate next. She hinted that London could prove costly for her future residence.

Helen shares custody of her children Matilda (age 9), Delilah (age 6), and Charlie (age 3) with her former partner Scott. However, she’s currently involved with Robbie Talbot, who resides in Liverpool, a city where his own two kids stay.

She mentioned about the upcoming relocation: “We’re currently putting the house up for sale, and I find that prospect quite exciting since I’ve grown accustomed to moving houses often due to Scott’s career as a footballer.

‘I could now never stay in one place for too long I don’t think. I like a change, I love it.’

She mentioned: “I find it unfortunate that I will need to depart from this house soon, as I have invested a great deal of time and resources into it. I’ve even used a significant portion of my savings to make it aesthetically pleasing. With eight bedrooms, maintaining it can be quite overwhelming – it’s quite a task.

When I relocate, I might find it challenging to simplify my possessions – I don’t wish to appear ungrounded. However, it will seem strange. Nonetheless, it will be easier for me to handle if I make the adjustment.

I’m currently undecided about where I plan to move next. While I’ve held a long-standing desire to reside in London, the significant cost difference there is concerning. However, for my career, it would be an incredible opportunity, and I do crave a change. The past few years have been particularly tough, so a fresh start in a new place would be delightful.
