Katie Price Says She Wants to Reconcile With Peter Andre After 16 Years Without Speaking

Katie Price has expressed her desire for a reconciliation with Peter Andre, so they can discuss and resolve their problems together.

Back in 2004, when I was just a starstruck fan, I couldn’t help but be utterly smitten by the whirlwind romance that unfolded between the dazzling reality TV star, then 46, and the enchanting singer, 52. Their love story started on live television during their stint on “I’m A Celebrity,” and four years later, they were still going strong as a married couple!

Originally a pair, they later welcomed two kids, Junior (age 19) and Princess (age 17). However, they declared their separation in the year 2009.

On Paul C Brunson’s podcast, “We Need To Talk”, Katie disclosed additional insights regarding their divorce. She mentioned that there had been no communication between them since the separation, expressing a desire for a friendly conversation with him.

To this very day, I haven’t had a conversation with Peter about the reason behind our breakup. It turns out that he thought there was something inappropriate between me and my dressage rider, but we’ve never discussed it directly.

‘Everything has been handled by lawyers, as I’ve never had a direct conversation with him. Given the chance, I believe we could have resolved our issues without their intervention, but unfortunately, we were prevented from doing so.’

Paul then pressed: ‘You’ve not talked to Peter Andre – would you have a chat with him here?’

‘Yeah I would,’ Katie responded, ‘there’d be sparks’. 

Paul went on to say, “I firmly believe we should strive to bring these two aspects together. It wouldn’t just be a spark, it would be a fusion of something truly remarkable.

For a while, there were many whispers that Katie and Peter might have parted ways due to her strong bond with equestrian, Andrew Gould. During the podcast, she directly addressed these gossips.

She informed Paul: Our separation stemmed from his suspicion that I was romantically involved with my equestrian partner, which was unfounded. I never had any intimate relationship with him. I simply took care of my horse, found joy in doing so, and he happened to be a married man.

However, when my relationship with Pete ended due to his frequent declarations of “I’ve had enough,” it escalated to the point where I exclaimed, “Then divorce me!” I recall that particular day vividly, as it was the day I traveled to the Maldives with our children.

On that particular day, I was at the airport, and the incident made headlines on Sky News. Contrary to popular belief, it wasn’t a mutual decision. Later, I retracted my statement expressing my desire not to part ways with Pete; instead, it was Pete who chose to end our relationship.

Following the announcement of their separation, Peter expressed his disappointment that Katie had taken their kids to the Maldives villa – the same one they had honeymooned at back in 2005. He was feeling quite sad about it.

He shared with the Daily Star, “Being away from my children is tearing my heart apart. It’s devastating; I am truly heartbroken.

Katie remarked that co-parenting is particularly challenging, explaining that the experience provides a glimpse into someone’s true character, and she’s faced some hardships. However, she also acknowledged the sadness of the situation.

On their reality show, Katie and her former spouse openly discussed their frequent jealous quarrels, often visible through their heated arguments on “Katie & Peter.

Yet, the announcement that they would be parting ways took their vast followers by surprise, including Katie, it seemed.

She expressed that they weren’t parted by her wish initially, saying: ‘Pete is not just the man I love, but the very core of my life. We share our family, and it pains me deeply that he opted to end our union and divorce me, as I wed him for a lifetime.’

‘I don’t agree with this situation, and it seems that the final decision isn’t mine to make. I won’t say anything more or grant any interviews about our separation, but let me assure you, my feelings for Pete will never change.’

Last year, I, a devoted fan, looked back at Katie’s stormy journey with Peter, feeling the weight of sadness as I acknowledged that their connection, once vibrant, has sadly faded and silence now fills the space where their conversations used to be.

Recalling her incredible voyage, Katie shared with The Sun, “It was quite extraordinary to find someone there and unfold such a romantic tale.

No one has come as close to me and Pete as you might imagine, not even when others have attempted to form deep connections. It seems that the unique bond between us, symbolized by our names ‘Pete and Kate’, remains unmatched.

However, let me explain what’s heartbreaking about the situation: We found love amidst the wilderness, exchanged vows, raised children together, enjoyed a wonderful life, but here we are, two decades later, barely able to communicate. The passage of time is truly unpredictable and astonishing.

Initially, it was a tale of love between us, and indeed, we deeply cherished each other. However, as time progressed, external factors began to intrude upon our romantic bond. That’s the extent of what I am able to disclose on this matter.
