Here’s what players can expect in TFT patch 14.5.
Starting later this month, Teamfight Tactics (TFT) will update to version 14.5, and Riot Games has already shared some details about the changes. In this new patch, there are modifications planned for various items. Here’s a sneak peek at the developments we know of so far.
TFT patch 14.5 release date
As a gamer, I’m excitedly counting down to May 28th, as that’s when TFT patch 14.5, Cyber City’s fifth update, drops! This patch brings in some Pride-themed missions, along with tweaks and improvements to various TFT items. It’s all about leveling up my gaming experience!

TFT patch 14.5 notes
TFT item swaps
14.5 TFT update brings about three significant changes:
1. Redemption is being substituted with Spirit Visage to support tank units and promote more aggressive tactics.
2. Runaan’s Hurricane is being replaced by Kraken’s Fury, shifting it from its specific role towards a scaled-up Attack Damage item.
3. Statikk Shiv is now in the Artifact pool, and Void Staff takes over as a crucial item for champions requiring mana, AP, attack speed, and magic resistance.

TFT Set 14 item reworks
Regarding the modifications in TFT patch 14.5, changes are being made to Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Sterak’s Gage, and Guardbreaker (renamed as Striker’s Flail). The adjustments include:
– Guinsoo’s Rageblade will now stack 6% Attack Speed per second rather than per attack, to improve its consistent scaling and reduce exploitation by units with high Attack Speed.
– Sterak’s Gage is receiving Omni Vamp, increased Health, Attack Damage, and a shield health that degrades over four seconds.
– Lastly, Guardbreaker (now Striker’s Flail) will also have damage amplification based on critical strikes.
Artifacts in TFT patch 14.5
As a thrilled player, I can’t help but share the excitement about TFT patch 14.5! Four fresh artifacts are on their way to enrich our gaming experience. The Flickerblade seems tailor-made for melee champions, offering stacking Attack Speed, AD, and AP. On the other hand, the Indomitable Gauntlet is an intriguing choice for tanky players, granting stun immunity and pulling enemies into close combat at the expense of movement speed.
Lastly, the Statikk Shiv appears to be transforming into a versatile AP/Attack Speed carry item, while the Titanic Hydra will now deal damage based on maximum health and Attack Damage. These changes are sure to bring new strategies and challenges to the table, making each game more dynamic and exciting!
For the present, let’s wrap up. Keep in mind that these updates might be adjusted during the Public Beta Environment (PBE), and when the May 28th release becomes active.
