Aaron Taylor-Johnson Stunned by His 19th Century Doppelganger in NYC Museum Painting
It appears that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has an uncanny lookalike, a 19th-century French physician.
During my latest trip to New York City, my wife and I stumbled upon an extraordinary finding at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. As we wandered through its halls, we happened upon a captivating painting by the esteemed American artist, John Singer Sargent.
1881 piece titled “Dr. Pozzi at Home” features the renowned French physician, Samuel Jean de Pozzi, standing out against a harmonious backdrop, donning a bold red coat.
However, what’s particularly noteworthy is how much the doctor looks like the British actor Aaron, they are almost identical.
The duo shares identical curly, brown hair, remarkably similar facial features, and near-identical brown beards.

It was strikingly similar how Doctor Pozzi and Aaron resembled each other, which led to Sam, Aaron’s wife, posting about it on her Instagram account for all her followers to see.
In a casual, clear manner: “Aaron, deep in thought, pondering whether he had met John Singer Sargent, as depicted in this photo with the oil painting, wearing a blue denim jacket.
Additionally, many spectators also noticed the similarity between them, even going as far as to share their astonishment by commenting on the striking resemblance they saw.
Aaron and his spouse made their finding approximately a month following when Sam shared her desire for collaborating with her partner once more.
17 years back, the director and the actor crossed paths for the first time during the shooting of Nowhere Boy. In this movie, Aaron embodied a younger John Lennon, a role that the director was responsible for directing.
Though they successfully worked together, this dynamic duo has only joined forces on one occasion since then, collaborating to pen the 2019 movie adaption of James Frey’s memoir “A Million Little Pieces.” In that project, Sam took on directing duties while Aaron played the lead role.
At a chat event organized by A Rabbit’s Foot magazine on Wednesday evening, Sam shared that due to their family obligations, it has become quite challenging for the couple to collaborate once more.
In my own words, I expressed: ‘It feels strange stepping out of the house, realizing I’ve forgotten to bring along the exceptional talent that is my acting skills.’

She mentioned: “This is an outstanding team collaboration, as we are deeply familiar with one another and enjoy working side by side. However, we do have four kids, which adds complexity to our situation.
‘If his parents are free to babysit then we can make another film together.’
In 2008, they found themselves deeply in love. A year after that, they got engaged, and finally exchanged vows in the year 2012. Since then, they have been blessed with two daughters: Wylda who is now 14 years old, and Romy who is currently 13.
Apart from them, their household is made up of Sam’s older daughters, Angelica (at 27 years old) and Jessie (aged 18), who are the offspring of a previous relationship with Jay Jopling.
OR:
In addition to the main family members, they live together with Sam’s eldest daughters, Angelica (age 27) and Jessie (18), who were born during her time with ex-husband, Jay Jopling.
Previously, the actor from Anna Karenina shared insights on shielding their youngest offspring from public attention during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
‘Our lives are enclosed within boundaries, both physically and metaphorically, and we choose to keep private aspects such as our family life and intimate moments away from public view on social media or news outlets.’
He went on to the outlet, expressing that we maintain separate spheres for our work lives and personal lives.
On the other hand, Aaron was recently seen with his stepdaughters, and just a few months back in October, he surprised fans by posting an uncommon picture of him alongside Jessie on social media.
