Samuel Johnson Shaves Head for Cancer Charity, Honors Late Sister
In a deeply emotional tribute, Samuel Johnson recently made a significant change as a way of honoring his late sister Connie, who sadly passed away from cancer in September 2017.
47-year-old Australian actor recently balded his head at a local community gathering, supporting his charitable organization, Love Your Sister, established in honor of his late sibling.
On Saturday, Samuel posted a collection of pictures on social media depicting an emotional instance as he donated his hair to contribute funds for a charitable organization.
The gathering attracted a great many people, signifying a major advancement in the continuous battle against cancer, an issue deeply important to Samuel.
I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with appreciation for all of you, dear supporters, as the triumphant success of our recent event serves as a powerful reminder of the unbreakable bond we share – our incredible sense of community solidarity.
As I pen these words, I can’t help but imagine my dear sister Connie beaming with joy and pride, for she would undoubtedly appreciate the lasting influence of our charitable efforts today.

The battle against cancer isn’t won until we no longer lose our cherished family members and friends to it. We conquer cancer with optimism, united, our strength is multiplied.
The successful fundraising event, where a significant sum was collected, had Sam modestly deflecting accolades towards the kind-hearted contributors whose generosity made this accomplishment possible.
‘Please don’t hop into the comments and congratulate me,’ he urged, echoing his sister’s humility.
‘It’s YOU who need to be thanked, congratulated, loved and owed forever.’
The actor thanked those who were priceless in their support, recognizing how crucial they were in exceeding the fundraising target.
He invited them to embrace Love Your Sister merchandise in the ongoing fight against cancer.
He enthusiastically declared, “There are twenty million compelling reasons to don your LYS apparel right away!” Encouraging his audience to carry on backing the charity’s noble cause.

Last June, Samuel admitted that he’s been finding it tough to deal with life following his sister’s passing.
Connie Johnson lost her lengthy battle with cancer in September 2017.
As a devoted follower, I recall my dearest sister never being in good health following her diagnosis with bone cancer at the tender age of 11, and subsequently with uterine cancer at 22. Sadly, she passed away at the young age of 33 due to breast cancer. This is a tale that has deeply etched itself into my memory.
He mentioned that when Connie arrived home in his blue Torana, it felt strange, and later he discovered that Connie was unwell at that time.
Dad told me: “She has a growth.” At the time, I wasn’t familiar with what a growth meant. Gradually, though, I came to understand that it referred to cancer.
Samuel previously opened up on the grief he still felt at losing his sibling.
In my own words, I shared with 9Honey, “I can’t simply spring back after laying her to rest and move ahead without a clear vision.” This reflects the deep emotion I’m experiencing in the aftermath of our loss.
Back in 2012, these two amazing individuals established the Love Your Sister charity. Since then, it’s been a powerful force in the battle against cancer, managing to collect millions of dollars.
