Strictly Star JB Gill Fronts Wild New Doc: Britain’s Weird Obsession With Service Stations Revealed

Previously known member of JLS, JB Gill, has shifted his skills towards hosting a unique documentary, focusing on an uncommon topic: the British public’s fascination with service stations.

38-year-old JB, who placed second on the previous season of Strictly Come Dancing, is set to host a one-hour documentary titled “Britain’s Preferred Service Stations” airing on Channel 5.

According to an inside source, it’s likely that the program will attract a substantial number of viewers, humor aside.

‘After all, service stations are a bit of a guilty pleasure for most of us.

It’s also interesting to note that the unexpected move was made by including a previous pop star as the host. Executives appear confident that this decision will prove successful.

The show is said to delve into the differing levels of popularity among British service stations, aiming to discover the key elements that make an outstanding roadside rest stop.

Based on its name, Britain’s Favorite Service Station is expected to showcase top-notch services as well, having been ranked so by consumers following a poll conducted by Which?

In other instances, this performer has also hosted shows, specifically “Songs of Praise” and “The One Show,” making this upcoming event his second time in a presenter role.

Last year, JB captured a fresh group of fans due to his exceptional dance performances on Strictly Come Dancing, making it through a remarkable 22 episodes.

Initially paired with professional dancer Amy Dowden, their partnership ended after six weeks due to her falling ill. In the end, he reached the finale dancing with Lauren Oakley instead.

The news about the upcoming documentary emerges at a time when JB’s pop music career is experiencing a resurgence, as boy band JLS has announced plans for a reunion tour in 2026, five years after their initial disbandment in 2013.

The tour will commence in Glasgow, Scotland, with a single performance at the OVO Hydro. Following this, it will travel to Aberdeen, Newcastle, Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool, Sheffield, Manchester, Cardiff, Leeds, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Brighton, and Nottingham, making one stop in each location.

The hitmakers behind the “Everybody In Love” anthem are set to conclude their tour with two last performances at the legendary O2 Arena in London, taking place on November 28th and 29th.

Audience members should anticipate that these shows will be filled from start to finish with popular pop tunes, such as the top-charting songs like ‘Beat Again’, ‘Everybody In Love’, ‘The Club Is Alive’, ‘Love You’, ‘She Makes Me Wanna’, and numerous others.

JLS stated, “Your boys have returned!! We’re absolutely thrilled to be hitting the road once more for another Hits tour, delivering the complete CLUB atmosphere straight to your city!
