Katie Price’s Pets: New Controversy
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my thoughts on Katie Price‘s latest social media posts showcasing her beloved pets. Though she has had a rocky past when it comes to pet care, and some have urged for her to cease being a pet owner, I find myself captivated by her unabashed affection.
In a recent Instagram post, the 45-year-old, once known for her glamorous modeling career, shared a heartwarming story featuring her brood of creatures. Three Sphynx cats and two dogs were seen cozily huddled on a rug, with her caption expressing tender affection: “These are my little ones.
In another snap, Katie shared two of the cats snoozing as they cuddled up close.
Recently, Katie shared some new updates – these are quite recent as they’ve only been a few weeks since she and JJ Slater presented their 10-week-old cocker spaniel, Rookie, to their fans. This action, coming from someone with a history of unfortunate pet misfortunes, has sparked curiosity among their followers.
Advocates for animal welfare have rekindled their efforts by reviving a campaign urging for a permanent ban on the woman with five children, preventing her from caring for animals in the future.
The Change.org petition, initiated following numerous previous occurrences, has amassed nearly 38,000 supporters so far.

For quite some time, Katie has been a pet owner, yet she’s faced criticism because five dogs, a horse, and a chameleon have passed away under her watch – with several incidents occurring near her residence in Sussex, involving traffic accidents.
As a dedicated lifestyle enthusiast, I’m deeply saddened to share a heartbreaking tale that has recently unfolded in my own life. My beloved German Shepherd, Blade, met an unfortunate end, hit by a vehicle on the A24. This tragic incident occurred merely months after another cherished canine of mine, Sharon, suffered the same fate in the very same area.
One of her horses also died in a similar accident after escaping her field.
2020 saw a devastating event for the owner when her beloved French Bulldog, Rolo, passed away due to being accidentally trapped and suffocated beneath an armchair. This unfortunate incident ignited widespread sorrow and indignation across the nation.
Katie faced criticism too, as she gave up a boisterous Alsatian, Bear, following allegations of it attacking other pets. Moreover, she relinquished another canine, Tank, just a few months after acquiring him because her enthusiasm seemed to have waned.
Animal welfare organization PETA has consistently criticized Katie, and it’s rumored they offered her a £5,000 incentive to cease keeping animals.
In a heartfelt letter to the former glamour model, PETA’s Vice President, Elisa Allen, expressed her deep concerns: ‘Though your intentions might be well-meaning, it’s hard not to notice the increasing number of animals who have either perished under your care or been rehomed. This troubling situation has sparked valid worries among people.’
Regardless of your explanations for their hardship, loss, or decline, it’s undeniable that your actions are causing harm to these delicate, conscious beings. I trust we can both acknowledge that this isn’t a sustainable course of action.

As a devoted supporter, I’ve chosen to rephrase the statement as follows: “I, on Katie’s behalf, have repeatedly requested a private discussion with PETA, but they persist in publicizing our story through the media rather than engaging directly with her.
‘If they want to have a direct conversation with Kate they can get in touch.’
Couldn’t we question if the donated charity funds would be better spent on helping animals instead of being distributed to celebrities? Is there sufficient funding for both purposes in their current budget?
As the recent controversy persists, I find myself proudly stepping into the role of a co-owner for a sleek female greyhound named Barbie Bullet, just last month.
Or, more casually:
In the midst of ongoing criticism, it’s true that I recently became the co-owner of a fabulous female greyhound called Barbie Bullet.
The dog is competing in a race held at Hove, which is approximately a 25-minute drive from Katie’s residence in West Sussex, and has managed to secure six victories out of the 41 races it has participated in so far.
According to a source, Katie has a deep affection for animals, and this could be an opportunity for her to earn some extra income.
She’s mainly participating for the amusement and pleasure it brings, as it doesn’t offer much financial gain with her investment.

It was noted that racing dogs are surrounded by caring individuals who attend to them well, and this certainly applies to Barbie Bullet as well.
‘There’s absolutely no need to worry about the welfare of this dog.’
In February, Katie shared with The Sun her sentiments: “Critics who claim I shouldn’t own pets are misunderstanding the situation, as it was beyond my control. However, I adore animals deeply.
