Nasser Sultan’s romance with Karla Grant is going from strength to strength.  

The reality TV personality from Married At First Sight and his SBS journalist girlfriend decided to visit a tattoo studio to permanently capture their love through tattoos.

The television personality boasted that his partner demonstrated affection for him by having the phrase “In Nasser We Trust” inked on her upper arm.

Nasser expressed, in the Instagram posts, that if you should ever encounter someone similar, never let such a person slip away from you.

However when Karla showed off the tattoo , it featured the names of her three children instead. 

Nasser exclaimed, “I feel I’ve been tricked!” followed by a playful remark, “Guess you’re out of here!” as they both departed from the room.

Nasser expressed his disappointment saying, “I’ve been fixed up!” and then lightheartedly added, “You’re out then!” as they exited the parlor.

Nasser proudly debuted his blossoming romance with the esteemed journalist in recent months.

The unlikely couple looked absolutely smitten as they stepped out together just weeks ago.

At Sydney’s NIDA Theatre, the lovestruck pair stole the show with their stunning arrival, strolling arm-in-arm along the crimson carpet.

60-year-old Karla stood out in a graceful, multi-hued tie-dye maxi dress made from silk, with tones of coral and white. The dress boasted a deep v-neck and voluminous arm openings.

She matched the bold appearance with strappy high heels, styled her golden-brown hair in elegant, wavy curls, and chose a subtle, radiant makeup style that included shiny pink lipstick and sun-kissed cheekbones.

Simultaneously, Nasser, aged 56, exuded pride as a beaming smile graced his face. He was elegantly dressed in a short-sleeve powder blue shirt, sleek black pants, and stylish black shoes.

He accessorised with a chunky gold watch, bracelet, and a pendant necklace.

The pair were constantly touching one another while they stood before a towering white throne chair and the backdrop of the event’s sponsorship display, capturing the affectionate moment on camera.

On a lighthearted occasion, you might have caught Karla perched on Nasser’s lap, giggling while he gently enveloped her with a protective arm around her midriff.

Following the revelation by Daily Mail Australia in February, it’s now clear that Nasser and Karla have been expressing their affection towards each other publicly, having secretly dated for several months following their reunion at a party the previous year.

Nasser shared with Daily Mail Australia that they had been acquainted for about four years. Later, they happened to meet again at a gathering, which sparked their romance.

‘That was it. It was like love at first sight – just not Married At First Sight!’

Speaking highly of his girlfriend, Nasser stated, “She is kind, intelligent, refined, extremely knowledgeable, and esteemed in her field. She is genuine, not pretentious, and she doesn’t use Instagram.

Truth be told, ever since Nasser graced our screens on Married at First Sight in 2018, he’s been basking in the limelight like a cat with nine lives. On the other hand, Karla, who’s a powerhouse as an SBS Living Black presenter and producer for Indigenous affairs, prefers to keep her shine under the radar, much like a humble supernova.

The relationship between the award-winning journalist and the admitted reality TV stirrer might come as a surprise to many, yet Karla herself articulated it aptly in an uncommon public declaration:

The bond between the Walkley Award recipient journalist and the self-proclaimed reality TV instigator may strike some as unusual, but Karla herself expressed it eloquently in a seldom-made public statement.

Nasser stands out as unique; he’s considerate, affectionate, and thoughtful, and it’s evident in his interactions with those he holds dear. He consistently lends a hand to his friends.

She continued, ‘Our union was very unexpected, but it is growing into something very special.’ 

For Karla, the new relationship signifies a new beginning, as she had been married to journalist and broadcaster Stan Grant for 16 years prior to their separation in 2000.

Stan made headlines by leaving Karla for Tracey Holmes, his coworker at the Seven Network, which resulted in a major scandal in the media world during that decade.

Over the years, Nasser has consistently grabbed headlines for himself, ranging from playful publicity tricks to manufacturing relationships for the sake of gossip columns.

To clarify, I personally believe that the relationship between him and Karla appears to be utterly authentic, devoid of any ulterior motives aimed at media attention.

The quiet nature of Nasser’s relationship up until now, despite his past statement, “feel free to write about me as long as you mention me,” carries a significant implication.
