A day later, Mike Gottlieb, attorney for Blake, shared details on the witnesses expected to testify in the forthcoming trial with Baldoni that involves Blake.

On Thursday, it was confirmed by the actress’s lawyer that she is ready to testify in a court of law under oath.

Regarding the question about Lively’s testimony, Gottlieb affirmed that she will indeed serve as a witness during the trial.

The most crucial point for a plaintiff’s narrative to unfold will be during the trial, and that seems to be what we can anticipate in this case (Lively). He stated this to People magazine. Indeed, she is expected to take the stand.

Despite rumors that friends such as Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman could potentially be summoned for this case, Gottlieb clarified that it remains uncertain if any of these celebrities’ claims or arguments in the trial have any bearing on the matter whatsoever.

He clarified that this matter pertains to the incident involving Blake Lively and her allegations of sexual harassment on set, distinctly stating it is not related to the selection of songs for the film or the fictional Marvel characters featured in the Deadpool series.

Freedman’s closing statement subtly referenced the supposed texts from Lively to Baldoni, where she mentioned Swift and Reynolds as “dragon-like figures.

In the questionable writings, she drew a parallel with Daenerys Targaryen (Khaleesi) from Game of Thrones, stating that, come what may, her ‘dragons’ (metaphorical representations) safeguard the causes she advocates for.

Concerning the accusations against Reynolds for his misconduct, he stated: “Ryan’s role in these events has been thoroughly recorded, and we’re still uncovering additional instances of deliberate wrongdoing. In December, Lively submitted an 80-page civil rights grievance to the California Civil Rights Authority, preceding the formal filing of a federal lawsuit approximately four weeks later.

In that very month, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, alleging instances of sexual harassment that occurred during the film’s production.

In her legal claim, the former star of Gossip Girl alleged that Baldoni subjected her to sexual harassment in various forms, such as making derogatory comments about her body, and masterminding a plan to tarnish her image and undermine her reputation.

In reaction to the lawsuit, Baldoni and his representatives assert that Lively manipulated the interpretation of text messages and deceived the public about the true nature of their communications during the production of the film.

In her legal action, Lively listed several associates of Baldoni, such as his production company Wayfarer Studios, its CEO and primary investor, as well as public relations representatives Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel.

In her conversation with The New York Times, Lively expressed hope that her legal action would reveal the hidden, harmful strategies used against individuals speaking out about wrongdoing, thus safeguarding others potentially at risk.

Following the publication of an article on December 21 entitled “We Can Bury Anyone: Unveiling a Hollywood Slander Network,” Baldoni filed a lawsuit against the newspaper for defamation, seeking $250 million in damages. However, the newspaper denies these accusations.

According to Variety’s reports, WME has refuted allegations that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively pressured them into dropping Baldoni from their list of clients.

The attorneys from both sides agreed on a strategy to combine the two federal lawsuits they’re handling into a single case going further.

This week, it became known that the Wayfarer Foundation founded by Baldoni is ceasing operations; however, no explanation for this closure was provided.
