This occurs following DailyMail.com’s exclusive report that Ben appears displeased due to the news of his friend, A-list star Tom Cruise, dating his former girlfriend, Ana de Armas.

According to a source, Ben tends to feel a certain envy or possessiveness. He had a strong affection for Ana, but she ended things, leaving him feeling sad. Therefore, it’s somewhat unsettling for him to see her in a happy relationship with his friend.

Friends of Affleck have playfully suggested that he might take a jab at Cruise by romantically linking with Katie Holmes, who seems to be currently unattached.

Nevertheless, since Ben resides in Los Angeles and Dawson’s Creek sweetheart dwells in New York City, it could prove logistically difficult to meet up.

It seems that, even though Ben previously dated Tom’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow, he has had a lingering sense of envy towards Tom Cruise due to his successful and lucrative action movie career.

On the red carpet, Ben expressed his excitement to Entertainment Tonight, saying, “Tonight is fantastic! Both our children and Jen’s children are present. I’m absolutely thrilled!
