Harlan Coben’s next show confirmed! A “gripping” true crime series – with a twist

A new Harlan Coben series has been announced, but with a twist.

The author’s works have been translated into television productions on numerous occasions. Some of the novels transformed in this manner include “The Stranger,” “Fool Me Once,” and “Missing You.

But this time around, he’s hosting an unscripted series that will examine true crime cases.

What to Read Next

According to Variety, the upcoming series is named “Harlan Coben’s Last Spin” and is scheduled to air on CBS during the gap between the autumn 2025 and spring 2026 seasons of Survivor.

The final season of Survivor for fall 2024 wrapped up on December 18, and the following spring season 2025 commenced on February 26. This implies that the upcoming season titled Final Twist might start during December or January.

As per the formal description, this one-hour show will delve into captivating stories about murder, major crimes, and shocking twists that change lives. Each story is carefully untangled to reveal concealed facts, deceit, and falsehoods.

Through unique interviews and previously unseen historical records, this series delves deeply into tales that conceal more than they reveal.

Meanwhile, Coben’s next Netflix adaptation started filming earlier this year.

Titled “Run Away”, this captivating show explores the lengths we go to preserve our family bond, the hidden truths we conceal within our household, and the covert secrets that bind us as a family unit. It will feature renowned actors Ruth Jones, James Nesbitt, and Minnie Driver in leading roles.

One reason I adore her deeply is that she has an immediate charm, as author Coben noted about Jones. I aimed to make readers instantly fond of this character, just like I am, and I eagerly anticipate audiences seeing Ruth portrayed in this part.

Just saw a scene where she acted alongside Jimmy Nesbitt, and it was fantastic watching their dynamic as they challenged each other and built camaraderie. I’m really looking forward to more of that interaction.
