Season 2 of Beef features a completely new cast and storyline, continuing the show’s themes of conflict and competition. Originally intended as a one-time series, Beef has been renewed as an anthology, meaning each season will tell a different story. Instead of revisiting Ali Wong and Steven Yeun’s characters, this season focuses on a fresh, dramatic feud – this time, a clash between different generations.
The second season of Beef, still created by Lee Sung Jin, centers on two couples – one from the millennial generation and one from Gen Z. After witnessing a heated fight between the older couple, the younger pair gets caught up in a web of blackmail, manipulation, and sabotage. The show adds another layer of conflict by placing these characters in the exclusive setting of a luxurious country club populated by Baby Boomers and members of the Silent Generation. Season 2 of Beef is a full-blown conflict, so let’s meet the main characters driving the drama.
