Benjamin Bratt gained fame as a heartthrob and well-built actor during his time on Law & Order, making him one of the most popular figures in Hollywood.

The star also dated the biggest movie icon of the day, Julia Roberts.

In the year 2000, when Julia clinched an Oscar for her role in the drama ‘Erin Brockovich’, Bratt stood proudly beside her. He was honored in her acceptance speech and the two shared a kiss on the red carpet.

But they broke up the next year after three years together.  

In the year following his departure from Roberts, he married Talisa Soto in 2002. Soto, a prominent model during the 1990s, graced covers for Vogue and worked with Versace. Originally from Brooklyn, she also made a name for herself in movies, appearing as a Bond girl in Licence To Kill (1989) and in Mortal Kombat (1995) and Ballistic (2002). With Soto, he has two children: Mateo Bravery and Sophia Rosalinda.

Despite the passage of time, Bratt remains just as attractive, earning him the title of “silver fox.” On a typical weekday, he could be spotted making his way into Good Morning America for a discussion about his part in the second season of the Star Wars spinoff series, Andor.

Bratt and Soto seldom appear together, preferring instead to keep a low profile away from the spotlight of Hollywood. They reside in San Francisco, a city that holds personal significance for him since it’s where he was raised.

Bratt continues to be a prominent figure in Hollywood, with recent appearances on television shows like Modern Family and Star.

In 2008 Benjamin told Latina magazine that Talisa is ‘heart and soul personified.’

He additionally expressed, ‘She elevates me to a higher level, a sentiment that seems straight out of a film. Yet, it’s challenging not to resort to stereotypes when talking about her, for the reason that so much has been said about my wife’s physical charm – and she is exceptionally charming in every sense – but as I’ve grown to understand her, her spirit and true character are even more captivating.’

Bratt  rose to fame in the 1990s. 

Known primarily for portraying Detective Reynaldo Curtis in the NBC series Law & Order from 1995 to 1999, he also received an Emmy nomination for his acting during that time.

Besides the roles in Miss Congeniality (2000), Traffic (2000), Despicable Me 2 (2013), Blood in Blood Out, and Piñero, Bratt has also graced the screens.

In 2017, he voiced Ernesto de la Cruz in the Oscar-winning Disney-Pixar movie Coco.

While on GMA on Wednesday, he shared a behind-the-scenes look at Season 2 of Andor on Disney+.

Actress famed for privacy regarding her relationship with cinematographer Danny Moder, chose to celebrate his special day by sharing a picture on Instagram.

I penned down, ‘On this special day, celebrating an exceptional individual who illuminates our lives – Happy Birthday to this wonderful man, Danny!’ (In reference to the snapshot of Julia beaming at him.)

Despite keeping much of her personal life with Danny Moder under wraps, Julia revealed details to the ‘Today’ show towards the end of last year, stating, “Everything begins with Danny Moder.

He is essentially our steady guide and our leader. In a lovely manner, he takes on the role of our ship’s captain. Indeed.

In the year 2000, they encountered each other on set during the production of the movie “The Mexican,” where Julia and Brad Pitt, age 60, collaborated.

As I reflect on that period, let me share an intriguing dynamic: The actress was in a relationship with the charismatic actor Bratt, while Danny, at the time, was happily married to the talented makeup artist Vera Steimberg, who was 51 years old. After both their relationships ended, the pair got hitched in July 2002.

In the year 2023, Julia decided to share a personal moment for the first time by publicly acknowledging her 21-year marriage with Danny on social media, expressing heartfelt emotions for their special anniversary.

Danny commemorated the occasion by posting on social media, accompanied by a picture of him and Julia: ‘Today we embark on our 20th year of matrimony. This photo was taken on a dirt road before our grand plan… cherishing this lovely girl one day at a time, every day an adventure.’
