Brian Austin Green Breaks Silence: Why He Refused to Respond to Megan Fox Grooming Claims

Brian Austin Green is finally addressing allegations that he ‘groomed’ his ex-wife Megan Fox.

For decades, there have been whispers suggesting that the actor from Beverly Hills, 90210, who is now 51 years old, exploited the actress, who was then 18, due to their substantial age difference (she was 18 and he was 30) during their dating period. This has been a long-standing allegation against him.

However, on Monday, he chose to disclose the topic he had been hesitant to discuss earlier, during a conversation with his fiancée Sharna Burgess on their podcast Oldish.

Sharna, aged 39, responded to Brian following his discussion about his ‘toxic’ past relationship with Vanessa Marcil. This conversation led Sharna to search for text messages between herself and her ex that seemed to suggest he had overlooked their 23-year-old son Kassius’ graduation.

As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but question my partner about the allegations surrounding his past. Even though he claimed innocence regarding the accusations that he had manipulated his ex-spouse, I felt compelled to ask him why he hadn’t taken steps to clear his name.

Based on what the actor said, he believed that engaging in self-defense against a relative would likely prove to be an unwinnable fight.

Brian stated, “My ability to remove emotions and make logical decisions seems to have been passed down from my father.

He stated, “If I stand up for myself just this once, it seems like it will never end. I’ll likely have to continue defending myself indefinitely, as people often choose to believe what they want. In my view, time is the only factor that can ultimately control such situations.

In my own words, I aspire to lead a life that, for those unfamiliar with me, is largely untainted by controversy, in hopes that this lifestyle might outshine any lingering doubts or misconceptions they may have about me.

He mentioned that people often observe his behavior over a longer period and then question if they’ve missed something, since they’ve never witnessed him acting in a controlling manner or heard such stories from others. He referred to this as the “long game” strategy.

As a lifestyle enthusiast reflecting on my past, I found myself entangled with my former partner Megan in the year 2004. Our paths crossed during our collaboration on the popular ABC sitcom “Hope & Faith.

In the second season, Megan stepped into the shoes of one of the main character’s daughters, while Brian appeared as a special guest on the program.

According to a 2009 Elle article, the actress who starred in Transformers implied that she was proactive in starting the relationship, as Brian had originally been reluctant towards dating.

In her own words, she expressed that it was necessary for her to demonstrate my maturity and eloquence, along with other valuable qualities I possess beyond merely turning eighteen years old, in order to persuade him.

They experienced a stormy connection, but despite this, they became engaged two years after that. Unfortunately, they parted ways in February 2009.

In June 2010, Brian and Megan made a surprise announcement: they had reconciled and their engagement was once again active. They followed this with an unexpected move, getting married in Hawaii at the end of the same month.

The couple later welcomed three sons: Noah, 12; Bodhi, 11; and Journey, eight.

In 2014, Megan and Brian welcomed their second child together. They announced their separation in August of the same year, with Megan filing for divorce shortly afterwards. Yet, the pair reconciled early in the following year. Later on in 2019, Megan requested to withdraw her divorce petition.

Reflecting on the past year, I find myself recalling the heartfelt announcement made by Brian in May 2020 – a time when he shared that his journey with Megan had come to an apparent end, marking what seemed like a final chapter in their relationship.

Megan filed for divorce in November of that year, and it was finalized in October 2021. 

In October 2020, Brian began a new chapter with Sharna, and they became parents to a son in June 2022. Their engagement followed in September of the next year.

Approximately a month following the announcement of her breakup with Brian, Megan made their relationship with the former rapper-now-rocker Machine Gun Kelly known to the public.

In 2022, they became engaged, but ended their relationship two years after. This past March, Megan welcomed their first-born child, a daughter, although the couple has yet to disclose her name in public.

In the very same episode where Brian discussed the grooming accusations, he described his past relationship with Vanessa Marcil as “toxic.

Vanessa and Brian started going out together in 1999, having met on the set of Beverly Hills, 90210. They got engaged in 2001, and their son Kassius, now 23 years old, was born the next year. However, they parted ways shortly after that.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I hopped onto Instagram yesterday, sharing an intriguing conversation that seemed to suggest a slip of the mind from Jason Green regarding his son’s recent graduation.

She shared a picture with him, and he asked, “What date is this?” To which she responded, “That’s from his graduation ceremony yesterday.

After that, the man with five children praised her by saying, “You truly did an outstanding job.” To which he added, “He’s simply fantastic.” In response, Marcil merely said, “Thank you.

This past Monday, Brian delved into the dynamics of his relationships with Megan Fox and Vanessa during a recent podcast discussion.

Since their separation, Green and Marcil have found themselves caught up in ongoing co-parenting disputes, with Green accusing her in 2023 of denying him visitation rights to their son Kassius at a certain time.

Additionally, she claimed in 2018 that Brian and Megan Fox (then his wife) had distanced themselves from Kass. Later on, it was disclosed that Megan Fox had expressed regret for her part in the family’s turmoil by apologizing to Kass.

As a passionate admirer, I can’t help but reflect on my past, particularly the way my mother doted excessively on me during my formative years. This nurturing style, while well-intentioned, significantly influenced how I approached relationships as an adult.

He told Randy and Sharna, “If I’m searching for a woman, I’d prefer someone who is exactly the opposite. Unfortunately, I made significant mistakes due to this.

The connection I shared with Vanessa was extremely harmful rather than being nurturing or affectionate.

He mentioned about his mother, “She was overly focused on me at times, making everything revolve around me. But with Vanessa, it wasn’t like that at all; instead, there existed a relationship where I had to fight for my own needs, which were often masked.

You begin to reason that it might be a fresh take on things, something like, ‘Ah, it’s still the same sentiment, just a different expression. Perhaps, she still loves me in her unique way.’

Green originally thought Vanessa was assisting him, but a few short years down the line, he no longer recognized himself.

You seem to be saying something like, “I feel as though my identity has been completely altered. I don’t recognize any part of myself that remains. The dynamics of my relationships with those around me have shifted dramatically.

A year ago, Vanessa stood up for Megan by stating that the person in question had already apologized for being part of their family’s conflict.

She has extended her apologies to me and our child for past actions that she finds reprehensible. It is not her responsibility, however, to maintain a relationship between a grown man and his biological offspring. That lies with the individual in question.

She also commented, “As you pointed out, it is indeed heartbreaking to see #SharnaBurgesse attempting to manipulate her followers in such a way. Yet, I find myself empathizing with her as well.

‘The main distinction is that she isn’t a young girl like Megan once was. Currently, she finds herself deceived and would need to relinquish all illusions of a fairytale life to uphold the truth at present.’

As a devoted admirer, let me share my perspective: “Indeed, Burgess hinted, ‘But take it from me, deep within her heart, she senses the deception. My heart aches for her and her precious child. We’ve become secondary, the children are all that truly matter now. One day we shall pass on, leaving these siblings united.

My eldest child is aware of the genuine facts, and he’s committed to safeguarding them. His primary concern is their security and tranquility. Ultimately, truth shall triumph.

Marcil articulated, “It feels right to align with history’s correct side, knowing that I sacrificed all for the sake of my child and upholding the truth.

Approximately a year ago, in the year 2023, Green stated that Vanessa had been absent from Kassius’s life during his battles with vertigo.

In a prior episode, Sharna claimed that when Brian couldn’t visit Kassius, she didn’t take any steps to ensure he spent time with him during those specific years.

Rather than portraying him as a present father, she depicted him as one who willingly stayed away from his child. It’s likely this detail was shared with Kass, and it’s hard to fathom the harm such a portrayal could have caused him.

Additionally, Brian asserted that he later discovered she depicted him as having deserted Kass during a period when his health was improving, even though the truth was that he was grappling with severe brain fog due to his condition at the time.

He remarked, “‘If only Vanessa had said, ‘I’ll ensure your son can still visit during your difficult time,’ it would have held great significance.’

If that action had been taken, it would have significantly improved the circumstances. However, things didn’t turn out as expected; events unfolded differently.

Previously, Marcil stated that she single-handedly brought up Kassius. Furthermore, she asserted that he had sued her for years, seeking child support – a claim that Brian rejected.
