Banks confirms Lacy is no longer part of FaZe Clan
According to FaZe Clan co-owner Ricky “Banks”, well-known live-streamer Nick “Lacy” Fosco has chosen to leave the FaZe Clan organization.
It’s been announced by FaZe Clan owner Ricky Banks (also known as “Banks”) that Nick Fosco, a well-known streamer within the organization, has been dismissed from the team with immediate effect. Neither party has disclosed the cause for this separation, but later, Fosco himself confirmed the news during a live broadcast, emphasizing that it’s not a joke and is indeed a serious matter.
Online chatter about the matter seems to be spiraling on its own, with none from Banks, Lacy, or any other FaZe member providing further details.
What happened between Lacy and Banks?
The information about Lacy being dismissed from FaZe Clan became public knowledge on Tuesday, May 6th. Banks shared a message that read “Lacy has been removed from FaZe” and emphasized it was not a joke, which subsequently attracted 7.4 million views. Many comments questioned the authenticity of the post, while others expressed curiosity about the events leading up to this decision.
Later, Lacy switched to Twitch for a live broadcast, briefly mentioning the topic without offering further information. “Everyone seems to find it amusing. But let me tell you, it’s no laughing matter. It’s a serious situation.” He then changed the conversation and unexpectedly ended his stream about an hour into it.
Based on FaZe Clan’s past achievements, it’s hard to tell if their recent success is genuine. They have been leading in streaming for the past few months, which suggests a valid reason. But, we can only confirm once more information emerges.
How did other FaZe members react to the news?
Friend of Lacy, known as StableRonaldo on Twitter, chimed in about the ongoing situation, leaving fans curious as to why Lacy hasn’t streamed on Twitch lately. Yet, StableRonaldo did not disclose any further information regarding Lacy being dropped from FaZe Clan.
As of now, it’s uncertain if their falling out is genuine or not. Lacy and StableRonaldo are scheduled to compete in the Fortnite FNCS Pro-Am on Saturday, May 10, in Los Angeles, CA. This competition could signal something major happening this weekend, but we’ll have to keep an eye on it.
Some spectators have proposed that there might be a swap between the streamers of AMP and FaZe Clan, with Fanum and Lacy potentially taking each other’s places. Later, Banks responded to a post by Fanum, who subtly acknowledged his removal from AMP’s social media platforms.
Over the coming days, we anticipate gaining further insights into Lacy’s differing views with Banks, specifically if this dispute might be a jest.
