2025’s Met Gala saw Rihanna, famously known as the creator of Fenty Beauty, announce her third pregnancy. Dressed in a unique Marc Jacobs suit, she lovingly displayed her baby bump for photographers on the red carpet stairs. By her side was her rapper partner, ASAP Rocky, one of the event’s co-chairs.

Just prior to the big unveiling, Rihanna’s photographer, Miles Diggs, shared a picture on social media. In the image, Rihanna is seen strolling through the wet streets of New York City, wearing a coordinating set in a shade of steel blue. Her baby bump was visible at her waistline. The photographer titled the post “Chance of Showers,” which Rihanna liked.

The multiple Grammy winner, known for her hit “Disturbia,” announced her pregnancy during her headlining performance at the Super Bowl halftime show in February 2023. This power couple, who started dating in 2019, had their first son, RZA (named after the Wu Tang Clan founding member), in May 2022.

A large number of performers, creators, and businesspeople stylishly made their way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City this year. The occasion was the first Monday in May, which marked the start of the Costume Institute’s upcoming exhibition titled “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.

On Saturday, the rapper and fashion influencer performed at his first concert since being found not guilty in a recent felony assault trial.

Recently this year, at the Los Angeles courthouse, ASAP Rocky stood alongside Rihanna during his trial for allegedly shooting his ex-friend and fellow ASAP Mob member Terrell Ephron, also known as ASAP Relli, in 2021. The court found ASAP Rocky not guilty on two counts of assault. Rihanna was present for several days of the month-long trial and brought their children to the closing arguments.

After having a child, Rihanna often expresses her aspiration for a bigger family. Back in 2024, during an interview with Interview magazine, she stated that becoming a parent was the most wonderful event they’ve experienced.

It’s wonderful when someone truly sees you, trusts in your abilities, and considers you capable of raising their children. That was how I felt about him too. I believed he would make an excellent father.

In another part of the interview, Rihanna expressed a willingness to have as many children as “fate permits.
