Nova Host Nathan Morris Returns: Mysterious Personal Drama Unveiled!

Nova 93.7 Perth star Nathan Morris returned to the airwaves on Monday after an extended absence.

The longtime radio broadcaster shared with listeners that he had stepped away from his well-loved morning program alongside Shaun McManus and Nat Locke to handle a very significant personal matter.

Nathan explained that he was unable to disclose information regarding his compulsory hiatus, as it concerned a legal issue.

He mentioned on the Nathan, Nat, and Shaun show on Monday that a significant event took place in his personal life which was so profound that it’s difficult to fully comprehend or understand.

‘Something comes in that’s so different no one has gone through it, no one can give you advice.’

The issue first arose last year, and unfortunately, it has resurfaced this year. I’m not at liberty to discuss it extensively due to ongoing legal matters unrelated to me; hence, my silence on the matter.

In March, Nova management told listeners that Nathan would be taking a break.

The news emerged following a wave of fan apprehensions on social networks, as the prominent ex-Big Brother contestant consistently failed to appear on his show during February.

A week ago, Nova shared a hint about Nathan’s return on social media, which sparked excitement among his followers.

Woohoo! This news surpasses even the election excitement. It’s great to have you back,” said a follower in a message about your Instagram post.

At last, I was truly missing him that I had to switch channels, apologies for the inconvenience. Honestly, it wasn’t the same without Nathan! His return brings me immense joy and excitement! Another fan chimed in with a similar sentiment.

‘I heard this news and literally started hyperventilating,’ gushed a third listener.

During the breakfast show in March, Nathan’s inconsistent on-screen performances on his own program were brought up and discussed by his fellow hosts.

On March 12, co-host Shaun McManus playfully said, ‘When Nat and I crossed paths in the elevator this morning, a thought momentarily flashed through my mind: Should I just step out and let her handle the show all by herself.’

He went on: “I suggested it might be amusing to begin the day, given our current situation since one of us is missing. I’m hopeful Nathan will return soon.

Nathan rose to fame on the 2002 season of Big Brother Australia.

The Kalgoorlie-born fan favourite lasted 56 days in the house before he was evicted.

2003 marked the start of Nathan’s morning segment on Nova’s 93.7 alongside Nat Locke. In 2009, Shaun McManus joined their team.

In an interview celebrating his 20 years at Nova the popular announcer discussed his career plans.

In 2023, he shared with Media Week, “I appreciate the colleagues I work with deeply; they’re an exceptional team. If we continue excelling, I believe my future will shine brightly.
