The Boys S5: Supernatural Stars Reunite on Screen!

In Season 5, the acting performances are expected to be significantly enhanced. Both series originate from creator Eric Kripke, and it promises a significant cast reunion as a highlight.

As a devoted movie buff, I’ve been thrilled to see some of the talented cast members from “Supernatural” migrate to “The Boys”, appearing as cameos, guest stars, or recurring characters throughout its initial four seasons. In an exciting twist during Season 3, Jensen Ackles stepped into the role of the menacing Soldier Boy. With news that “The Boys” will be wrapping up with Season 5, Eric Kripke has hinted at a significant Supernatural reunion in the final season, leaving me eagerly awaiting the show’s conclusion!

Discussions about Padalecki potentially appearing have been ongoing since last year. However, it’s now confirmed that Season 5 will not only include his screen brother from Supernatural, but also Misha Collins, a beloved character who played Castiel in the popular fantasy horror series. This announcement was made in a viral post at the end of February.

Initially, there wasn’t much information about their characters. Soon after, it was unclear if the three would appear together on screen. Fortunately, Kripke chose to build anticipation for the final season with an exciting preview: he confirmed that all three characters will appear together in The Boys. This finally addresses a significant question that fans have been curious about since Padalecki and Collins were cast in The Boys.

Kripke didn’t reveal any specifics concerning Padalecki or Collins’ characters, yet hinted, “It’s exciting! We’ve already filmed it.

Not only are Jared, Jensen, and Misha appearing simultaneously within this narrative, but they are also engaging with one another as part of the plot.

Previously, Kripke hinted that bringing two specific characters together could potentially cause widespread devastation. In June 2024, he stated, “The intention is to bring down the internet. So we’ll see if it fits with the narrative,” Kripke suggested playfully. “Indeed, I’ve thought about how this combination might level much of the world, and that idea intrigues me.

Phil Sgriccia, director of “Supernatural,” will also join in the get-together for the satirical superhero series. “Being with the five of us again on set, filming, felt just like a blast from the past and a high school reunion, where you effortlessly slip back into all your old habits.

Kripke went on to say, “It felt incredibly touching and pleasant to reunite so swiftly with these individuals I hold dear, whom I haven’t been around, even professionally, for many years. So, it was extremely significant.

The Boys Supernatural Reunion Could Lead to More Collaborations

As a film enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy will be back as a series regular in the upcoming season. Interestingly, this isn’t the only project he’s involved with – he’s also working on his own spinoff show based on ‘The Boys’, titled ‘Vought Rising’.

In this prequel, Aya Cash will share the lead role with Will Hochman, who has previously been a part of ‘Blue Bloods’. Exciting times ahead for ‘The Boys’ universe!

In the prequel, his former “Supernatural” cast members might show up again. Simultaneously, Padalecki and Ackles have discussed the possibility of a “Supernatural” reunion, though this hasn’t been officially announced yet. However, there are several opportunities for them to collaborate once more, as demonstrated by “The Boys” Season 5.

While the specific launch date for Season 5 of The Boys hasn’t been announced yet, it’s anticipated to make its debut on Amazon Prime Video around the year 2026.
