In a 1988 movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was 77 years old at the time, portrayed a street-smart character named Vincent, while Danny DeVito, aged 80, played his twin brother, the clever but innocent Julius.

The film was highly influential, earning over $216 million and signifying Arnold Schwarzenegger’s debut in a comical part, teaming up with esteemed comedy legend Danny DeVito.

On Monday, it was no surprise that fans were thrilled to find out the pair had gotten together again, as evidenced by the overwhelming response on Arnold’s Instagram post, which garnered over 200,000 likes within just a few hours.

I was absolutely thrilled when I stumbled upon this photo! There I saw myself surrounded by my idols – these brilliant actors – flanking former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, both of us standing at an inviting swimming pool, our smiles beaming brighter than the sun. We were arm-in-arm, a united trio radiating joy and camaraderie!

Movie enthusiasts swiftly filled the comment section with their enthusiasm over Schwarzenegger and DeVito teaming up. However, a few remarked that Blair’s participation seemed unexpected or unplanned in the collaboration.

One commented: ‘All legends in their own right!’

Another commented, “The trio reminds me of the opening scene from a typical Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode.

While one more simply wrote: ‘This has got to be the most random link-up ever.’   

Despite being in different roles, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tony Blair did indeed work together when Arnold was Governor of California.

In truth, during his tenure as Prime Minister, Blair’s last visitor at Downing Street was the governor, back in 2007.

The duo convened to debate on topics surrounding climate challenges and sustainable economic systems, areas that Arnold Schwarzenegger is known for advocating.

Blair and Schwarzenegger’s gathering with DeVito is scheduled just a few weeks prior to their discussion on climate matters at Schwarzenegger’s ninth annual conference, set for June.

Just a year ago, the legendary acting pair stirred excitement among fans as they shared the stage once again at the Oscars, over three decades since their film “Twins” hit the screens.

In just a few days following their meeting at the Oscars, movie enthusiasts grew even more thrilled as DeVito hinted at the possibility of another film collaboration with his previous screen partner.

In a conversation with Fox News, he mentioned that Arnold Schwarzenegger is more like a friend to him and they are currently working on a new movie project together.

We’re currently creating a screenplay and collaborating with Warner Brothers to bring our work back to the silver screen.

Instead of a sequel, since Ivan Reitman (the director of Twins) has passed away, it won’t happen. However, I had known Arnold Schwarzenegger before Twins, and we would run into each other occasionally. We’re eager to collaborate with him again on the screen in the future.

1. Hopefully, everything goes well next year, we’ll return to work on a new project that we both enjoy. He’s such a pleasant companion indeed.

There is yet to be any further updates on a potential new movie, however. 

In my line of work as a lifestyle expert, I often find myself reflecting on iconic movies that resonate deeply with audiences. One such movie is the 1988 film “Twins,” where I found the protagonists playing genetically engineered siblings who didn’t meet until they became adults. It’s fascinating to consider how our lives might have unfolded had we encountered our long-lost genetic counterparts at different stages in life.

In a planned sequel to the classic film Twins, titled Triplets, it was revealed that the main characters, originally believed to be twins, were in fact three brothers.

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but share the buzzing rumors that have me jumping with joy! Word on the street is Eddie Murphy might be stepping back into the spotlight for the upcoming sequel. And

Yet, the project was temporarily suspended following the demise of Ivan Reitman, the original film’s director, who passed away at the age of 75 in February 2022.

In a turn of events, the movie was proposed to Ivan’s son, renowned director Jason Reitman; however, as shared by Schwarzenegger, it was Reitman who declined the project.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d like to share an interesting tidbit about two iconic actors – Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.
