Clash Royale Season 71 May 2025 Update Overview
New Evolution: Witch
As the fifth addition to the Card Evolution series this year, Witch introduces a fresh gameplay mechanic. Unlike other evolved forms that gain stat boosts, this one comes with an exclusive skill known as Healing Bones. Whenever her Skeletons meet their end, their spirits return to her, restoring 109 HP to her for each one.
Indeed, the healing potential extends past her initial health points, reaching as high as 130% – a rather strong boost if I may say so myself. Notably, this augmentation isn’t confined exclusively to her self-generated entities.
This character can be healed by skeletons from various cards such as Skeleton Army, Tombstone, Guards, or even evolved skeletons, with the exception of those created by Clone or Skeleton King’s ability. However, it’s important to note that the healing process takes a second to complete. Furthermore, her evolving ability triggers every second cycle for added context.
Free and Diamond Pass Royale details
The impact of eliminating the seasonal store can be seen in the Pass Royale too. Adjustments have been made to both the free and premium rewards, as outlined in the table provided.

The Free Pass, comprising a total of 90 levels, offers you an assorted collection that includes Gold Crates, Lucky Drops, Card Boost Potions, as well as several Wild Shards. Additionally, you’ll receive a few Giant Chests and some Battle Banners during your journey.
As a devoted fan, I’ve got to say that choosing the Diamond Pass isn’t just an option, it’s a journey! The rewards you get are simply mind-blowing. You’ll find yourself with no less than 6 Witch Evolution Shards, a plethora of Wild Cards spanning all rarities, a Magical Chest, and to top it off, a Legendary King’s Chest! It’s an adventure like no other!
In addition to the latest update, there’s a unique “Tower Skin” now available for the “Pass Royale”. The highly anticipated “Witch Evolution Tower Skin” can be unlocked at Tier 90 of the Premium Tier in the Pass Royale, a significant increase from its previous location at Tier 56 following the March update.
To add to that, there’s an Emote, along with a collection of Lucky Drops that offer increased chances of higher-star items. Additionally, you’ll enjoy premium benefits such as a Golden Name tag, the ability to rejoin challenges without penalty, and Premium Clan Gifts. If your goal is to earn the best rewards and cosmetics, it’s certainly worth considering.
