Upon entering the room, however, Aimee-Leigh has vanished. Kelvin notices Corey’s luggage, discovering a firearm and Elijah Gemstone’s stolen golden Bible within it. Before long, Corey apprehends Kelvin, and shortly afterwards, Kelvin departs. Moments after Kelvin’s exit, Corey embarks on an attempt to assassinate each of the Gemstone siblings.

Corey’s choice to attempt murdering Jesse, Judy, and Kelvin is astonishingly horrifying, yet fortunately, he fails in his plan. It appears that Corey’s actions are primarily driven by a mental breakdown. However, he expresses deep regret for his involvement in his father’s criminal activities. Since Jesse, Judy, and Kelvin have knowledge of these crimes after Corey reveals them, he decides to eliminate them. In the moment when Jesse shoots Corey, it seems that Corey is pulled out of his murderous rampage. He then humbly requests the Gemstone siblings to pray for him as he passes away during their prayer.
