Instead, design houses, brands, and other companies are said to be the ones purchasing tables. They then decide which attendees will grace these tables. However, those lucky individuals must gain approval from Anna Wintour, the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue, before they can take their seats.

It seems that joining the exclusive group comes at a cost, both figuratively and literally. Since cell phones are prohibited at this event, you won’t be able to catch glimpses of what happens behind the scenes through celebrities’ social media posts. The gala starts with a cocktail hour where guests can explore the museum’s current exhibitions. Afterward, dinner will be served, followed by one or more private shows.
