Two years following the KIIS FM celebrity’s purchase of a $13.25 million property in the east, neighbors near the construction site have been expressing concerns over disturbances and loud noises.
People living nearby assert that the construction activity at a site situated on a quiet dead-end street with views of Gordon’s Bay is producing an incredibly loud and bothersome racket, as reported by news.com.au.
A local resident voiced concerns to a media outlet, stating that construction workers on Jackie’s property were obstructing roadways by parking their vehicles and ignoring assigned parking spots.
My neighbor expressed frustration, saying they didn’t want to need to come over each time they wanted to leave their driveway.
A tradie informed the publication that work on the site won’t be completed until June 2026.

According to a report published in the Wentworth Courier, it was confirmed that Randwick Council had received a total of two complaints related to construction.
Instead of mentioning “noise or disruptions,” let’s focus on the issue of “sediment from the site potentially entering the ocean.
After hearing about the complaints, local officials went to the property and asked the construction team to put in place extra measures to control soil erosion, with the aim of minimizing any potential floodwater flowing into the sea, according to their representative.
Builders made the changes to the site as requested, they said.
