Popular crime series cancelled after five seasons and fans are furious
The Equalizer has been cancelled by CBS after five seasons, with its axing leaving fans furious.
The updated crime drama, a revival from the ’80s, revolves around Robyn McCall (played by Queen Latifah), who employs her vast talents to act as a protective force for New York City, safeguarding those in need.
After a successful run spanning five seasons, the first of which debuted in 2021, Variety reports that CBS has decided to end the show. The final episode airing on May 4th will mark the conclusion of the entire series.
