Look who’s back for another spell… Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock reunite as witches after 28 years

They bewitched audiences nearly three decades ago as the enchanting Owens sisters.

Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock, still sharing great chemistry, came together again to share news about their upcoming movie, Practical Magic 2.

Together, they walked onto the stage in Las Vegas, appearing from a cloud of smoke, to promote the next installment of their popular 1998 film at CinemaCon.

After 28 years, the sequel will bring back the witches Gillian and Sally, and introduce a new cast featuring Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, and Joey King.

Sixty-one-year-old track and field star Ms. Bullock made a statement in a vibrant red suit by Gabriela Hearst, which she paired with a striking black leather bra.

The Academy Award-winning actress and mother of two returned to the red carpet for the first time since 2024, following a break from acting that she announced in 2022.

Her long-time partner Bryan Randall died the next year at 57 from Motor Neurone Disease.

Beside her, Ms Kidman, 58, embodied gothic glamour in a flowing sheer black Colleen Allen dress.

After recently finalizing her divorce from Keith Urban, 58, the mother of four has been incredibly busy, appearing in nine different TV shows and projects over the last year and a half.

The highly anticipated sequel to Practical Magic, titled Practical Magic 2, will be released on September 18, 2026. The original film, a fan favorite, first premiered 28 years prior.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always drawn to heartwarming stories, and this rom-com is definitely one of them. It centers around two sisters who, after a difficult loss – the passing of their parents – find themselves moving in with family. It’s a story about rebuilding, finding love, and the bonds that get you through tough times.

Raised by their unusual aunts in a small town, two siblings with a talent for practical magic must navigate prejudice and a curse that could prevent them from finding true love. They’ll need to use their gifts to overcome the challenges they face.
