Blue Ivy’s Strict Stage Warning to Rumi Sparks Family Drama During Beyoncé’s Tribute
Blue Ivy’s discipline is clearly as fierce as her dance moves.
In a crowd of thousands, the young girl tactfully reprimanded her sister Rumi when her enthusiastic actions disrupted Beyoncé’s emotional tribute to her mother.
On Thursday evening at California’s SoFi Stadium during the second performance of her Cowboy Carter tour, Blue Ivy, aged 13, and her younger sister Rumi, 7 years old, appeared alongside their mother on stage.
Beyoncé, age 43, not only purchased the rights to her mother’s book, but also Tina Knowles herself penned a memoir entitled “Matriarch.” This was a recent release.
A clip shared on TikTok captures the moment Blue Ivy and Tina struggle to tame an excited Rumi.
Today is a significant day, Beyoncé shared, as her mother’s book, which she tirelessly worked on, now tops the New York Times Best Seller list. The crowd erupted in applause as we celebrated three generations together on stage.

Rumi’s excitement overtook him, causing him to clap enthusiastically before rushing to embrace his mother, just as she was about to speak.
Tina could be seen pulling her away, as she issued a warning.
After examining the video, forensic lip reader Nicola Hickling has exclusively disclosed that Tina can be heard saying: ‘Pause, let’s continue our conversation.’
Tina then says, ‘calm down,’ to which Beyoncé looks and smiles at her and insists: ‘She’s okay.’
Afterward, Blue Ivy gently guided Rumi by holding her hand and inviting her over with words like ‘here, here, to me’. She then made a soothing ‘sssh’ gesture in an attempt to keep Rumi quiet and still.
However, Rumi didn’t take kindly to the warning, instead he maintained his center of attention, energetically waving to the audience and bouncing around, while Beyoncé asked everyone to shout, “Congratulations Mama T.” instead.
The subtle telling off did not go unnoticed by fans, with one writing: ‘Blue so strict.’
Another added: ‘Blue just proved she’s the manager in the Carter Family.’

A third said: ‘Blue Ivy is such a first born daughter.’
others criticized Tina’s reaction towards her energetic grandchild, as one individual commented: ‘Tina appears quite harsh… (towards) a child like Beyoncé.’
Another wrote: ‘Tina ain’t no sweet grandma she strict she like girl stay put.’
‘Tina was like, Wait kid that’s my moment,’ commented another.
During her performance of “Protector,” Beyoncé appeared on stage accompanied by her daughter Rumi. Excited, Rumi, who also has a twin brother named Sir, raised her hands high as Beyoncé sang the words, “‘Liftin’ you up so you will be raised.’
In the role as a devoted fan, I found myself gracing the stage for my second time during Beyoncé’s tour, having been introduced by none other than the queen herself on its initial night.
Blue Ivy astounded spectators with her impressive dancing skills when she danced along with her mother’s dance group during performances of the songs ‘Formation’, ‘America Has a Problem’, ‘Deja Vu’, and ‘Protector’.
According to DailyMail.com, she invested numerous hours daily over almost half a year under the guidance of renowned choreographer Amari Marshall, all the while managing her academic responsibilities.

According to our source, she’s been practicing with Amari, and they began their rehearsals right around Christmas time. During this period, she spent six hours each day rehearsing amidst her schoolwork, as well as taking the time to watch her mother’s YouTube videos for additional guidance.
‘Blue even had a hand in some of the creative direction of this tour.’
Blue Ivy is scheduled to feature in around half of the 32 Cowboy Carter tour dates.
Previously, she had the opportunity to dance during Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, sharing the stage with her mother for performances of “My Power” and “Black Parade.
Additionally, she performed a dance routine alongside her mother during the holiday-themed halftime performance at both the Baltimore Ravens versus Houston Texans match in December.
