Louis Vuitton is broadening its presence in Los Angeles by debuting a colossal flagship store in Beverly Hills in 2029. As reported by WWD, this new property, nestled between Rodeo Drive and Beverly Drive, will span three stories and cover an expansive area of 45,000 square feet. The store will showcase a variety of products such as women’s and men’s collections, beauty items, fragrances, watches, jewelry, and travel-related goods. Beyond retail, the flagship will also feature a permanent exhibition space and numerous dining options.

Constructed by Frank Gehry, the architect behind Fondation Louis Vuitton, the building project is slated to kick off in 2026. The interior design will be overseen by Peter Marino, a renowned architect known for his iconic store designs for luxury brands such as Dior and Chanel.

According to Louis Vuitton, the new location will offer visitors an immersive experience showcasing their wide range of products and unique client services across various universes. This expansive venue, as described by WWD, is made up of two buildings connected by bridges, with a modern exterior design featuring curved volumes. The rooftop boasts greenery, including trees and grassy areas, providing a tranquil space for visitors to relax amidst the grandiose architecture.

Previously, LVMH had planned to establish a new flagship store in the 109-room Cheval Blanc hotel in Beverly Hills; but, unfortunately, this idea met resistance from the local residents and the Beverly Hills City Council, ultimately leading to its rejection.
