Thunderbolts has set a surprising new MCU record

In an unexpected turn of events, the latest film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, titled “Thunderbolts“, has broken a fresh record in the franchise.

Today, the movie that tells the story of an unlikely team of protagonists embarking on a perilous quest will premiere in the United Kingdom. Tomorrow, it’s set to be screened in the United States.

The movie not only features both a scene during the middle and after the credits, reminiscent of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, but this particular scene is their longest yet.

IGN counted the Thunderbolts* post-credit scene alone at two minutes 54 seconds, give or take.

It was determined that this publication surpasses in length all the mid- and post-credit sequences found in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films, even when combining the five mid-credit scenes from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2’.

On the other hand, an extended credits sequence from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) can be discovered in one of the series available on Disney+.

In the last installment of Hawkeye, an extended rendition of “Save the City” from within the fictional Rogers: The Musical took center stage, lasting more than four minutes.

The movie titled “Thunderbolts” has managed to secure a notable rating on Rotten Tomatoes, surpassing several films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

According to Digital Spy’s critique, the movie was highly commended for delving deeply into the complex personalities and psychological conditions of its characters.

Although ‘Thunderbolts’ may not delve deeply into depression like some other works, it’s remarkable that screenwriters Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo have tackled this subject matter in a major summer film.

Thunderbolts* is out in UK cinemas now, and releases in the US tomorrow.
