An unexpected new John Wick movie is being released next week
An unexpected John Wick movie starring Keanu Reeves is being released next week.
The movie trailer for “John Wick Chapter 4” has been unveiled by Lionsgate, and it’s set to be available for digital purchase starting from this coming Friday, 9th May.
Instead of being a sequel, extension, or offshoot, it is a documentary tracing both the triumphs and challenges experienced during the creation of the series that surpassed all predictions.

The movie showcases conversations between Keanu, director Chad Stahelski, producers David Leitch and Basil Iwanyk, as well as stunt double Jackson Spidell, about their journey in creating the series.
The preview reveals discussions on the actual agony endured by Keanu and the rest of the cast and stunt team during the filming of intense action sequences, also highlighting their emotional turmoil due to the potential shutdown of production and the urgent task of raising over $6 million in a short time frame.
Furthermore, it appears that the documentary will delve into the unifying effort that led to surmounting the obstacles and producing a cherished collection of action movies.
The fifth main installment of the John Wick series is being worked on, but since the lead character perished in Chapter 4, it remains uncertain how the storyline will unfold. On a more definite note, the spin-off film titled Ballerina is set to be released next month.
Actress Ana de Armas is set to take on the lead role as Eve Macarro, joined by stars Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, and the late Lance Reddick in this production.
Keanu will have a brief appearance too, with Ballerina set before the end of Chapter 4.
Meanwhile, there are plans for an animated movie and a spin-off focused on Donnie Yen‘s Caine.
On the 9th of May, you’ll be able to purchase “Wick is Pain” digitally. Starting from the 6th of June, “Ballerina” will make its way to movie theaters.
