Harry Potter Star Louis Cordice Looks Unrecognizable After Shocking Career Change!

15 years after his appearance in the famous Harry Potter series, actor Louis Cordice is barely recognizable now.

In 2009, a British actor appeared as Blaise Zabini, Slytherin student, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. He reprised this role in The Deathly Hallows Part 1 (2010) and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011).

The British actor played Blaise Zabini, a Slytherin student, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince back in 2009. He continued to portray this character in The Deathly Hallows Part 1 (released in 2010) and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (which came out in 2011).

Blaise joined forces with Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) and Josh Herdman (Gregory Goyle), forming part of the problematic trio in the wizarding schools.

At the moment, Louis, aged 35, takes pride in being a devoted family man, sharing his life with three wonderful children and his beautiful spouse.

Instead of his previous persona, he now appears dramatically different, having grown a full beard and mustache. His decision to leave acting behind and pursue a career in recruitment has brought about this transformation.

Currently, Louis serves as a seasoned finance recruitment expert with more than eight years of professional history within the field.

In his explanation, he mentioned that he excels at creating robust, efficient finance teams by catering to the distinct requirements of both clients and job applicants.

My method extends past just assigning positions; it involves forming lasting, significant connections and ensuring a suitable match in terms of culture.

Nevertheless, the child actor continues to participate in global events such as fan conventions, ranging from Paris to Mexico, engaging with enthusiasts of the Harry Potter series.

Previously, Louis mentioned that he feels fortunate to traverse the globe and attend conventions because, in contrast to the present, he encounters Harry Potter fans who now have kids.

Last year, he also had a reunion with Tom Byrne and Scarlett Byrne (the actress playing Slytherin student Patsy Parkinson) during a convention towards the end of the year.

The three of them appeared delighted upon their reunion, striking playful poses for photos behind the scenes prior to greeting their admirers.

Since then, Scarlett has been featured in various roles, including playing Heretic vampire Nora Hildegard in The Vampire Diaries and making appearances in Skybound and Sorority Murder.

At the convention, Louis and Scarlett disclosed their preferred scenes from the previous production that unfortunately didn’t make the final cut.

Scarlett mentioned: “During our last movie, we shot a scene set in a dungeon. It wasn’t until afterward that we fully grasped its size, but unfortunately, it ended up getting cut. I believe it might have been included as an extra feature, though the actual scene required only two takes.

As a devoted follower, let me share that I recall sparring with Josh [Herdman] in the courtyard too. However, those skirmishes were also trimmed from the final edit.

Louis also revealed how he got into acting and how he secured the role in the Slytherin trio.

He said: ‘I got into acting originally, I was Dean Thomas’ double.

I started my acting career when I was selected from school in seventh grade. For the next two years, I stood in as a double for two different movies, the second and fourth ones in their production. This experience ultimately helped me break into the acting industry.

After that, I secured an agent who put me forward for various auditions. Following three such auditions, I was offered the role of Harry Potter.

To be frank, it was truly amazing to transition from being a supporting actor to taking on the lead roles in the movies.

Last April, Louis joined forces once more with his Slytherin co-star, a member of the sinister trio known as Gregory Goyle, at the ‘Potter Day’ event held in Verona, Italy.

Goyle was played by Josh Herdman, who is now a mixed martial artist.

In 2023, the duo clearly displayed their strong connection while grinning for a picture, with Louis attending Josh’s extravagant wedding alongside him.
