Sunetra Sarker, who gained fame from Casualty, is joining Green and Watkins in a fast-paced, cat-and-mouse thriller series.
As I’m enjoying my well-deserved retirement, an old case keeps popping up in my thoughts. When the new neighbor, Patrick Harbottle (Green), casually mentions ‘catch you later’, the same chilling phrase a stalker used to torment me during the investigation, it feels like a sign I’ve finally found him.
Here’s what unfolds next: The neighbors engage in a tense, high-stakes game of psychological chess, while Huw finds himself grappling with his deteriorating circumstances.
Overwhelmed by the shame of a stalker claiming another victim, Huw dares everything to uncover the reality. Yet, could he be targeting the wrong individual, or is his fixation leading him dangerously near the edge?
Earlier on discussing the series, Watkins expressed his enthusiasm saying: “I’m really looking forward to working on another suspenseful drama for Channel 5, following the success of Coma. Although it’s a new project, it has all the right elements for an exhilarating experience once again.
I’m thrilled to collaborate with both Robson and Sunetra! Another intriguing project awaits us: I can hardly wait to start filming!
The Game will premiere on 5 on 12 May.
