Sophie Delezio’s Heartrending Plea: New Mum Seeks Advice Amid Tears and Tiredness with Baby Frankie

Sophie Delezio, a mother of an 8-month-old, has sought guidance from her extensive social media audience due to her son crying every day. She admitted that he does so regularly.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share a heartwarming story that underscores resilience and new beginnings. At the tender age of 24, a woman who miraculously survived a devastating car accident became a mother for the first time in September. Her little bundle of joy, whom they named Frankie, was welcomed into the world by her loving husband, Joseph Salerno. Despite the challenges she’s faced, this remarkable young woman embodies the spirit of triumph and the power of hope.

Sophie unexpectedly gave birth to her son, Frankie, through a C-section and has since been giving her followers peeks into the ups and downs of motherhood online.

On her Instagram Story, she openly shared about feeling drained and longing for a lazy day indoors, perhaps spending it curled up in bed, immersed in a Netflix marathon.

To all moms everywhere, how do you manage when you’re feeling drained and a bit tired? That’s what Sophie wanted to know.

‘How do you keep your child entertained?’

‘I have to provide top-tier entertainment,’ Sophie added.

‘Otherwise, there is going to be many tears. And to be honest, probably from both of us. How?’

She expressed that this feels like the pinnacle of motherhood for her, as if she’d rather retreat to her bed and spend the whole day binge-watching shows on Netflix. She let out a deep sigh as she said this.

‘But no, the sun is shining and we’ve got to get on with the day.’

Previously, when addressing fan queries, Sophie often referred to her child’s tears as deeply saddening or heart-rending.

From my perspective as a lifestyle guide, I must say there’s nothing quite as heartwarming as experiencing the joys of motherhood firsthand. One of the most rewarding aspects is witnessing your little one explore the world for the very first time – marveling at trees, adoring strolls, and beaming with joy. It truly is a magical experience!

struggles can occur when trying to determine the cause of a baby’s crying. Initially, deciphering the meaning behind each cry can be challenging, and at times, it seems as if they are crying without any discernible reason, which is truly disheartening for me.

Every day like clockwork, I zealously embark on a stroll with my cherished companion, Frankie, nestled snugly in his pram, just as I read in one of Sophie’s posts about her routine!

In the same message, she also expressed that our main goal is to get through the day with minimal emotional turmoil.

In April, Sophie tied the knot with her long-time sweetheart, Joseph, during a charming, rustic wedding held at the elite Hunter Valley venue, Anambah House.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I had the delightful opportunity to peek behind the veil at a heartwarming weekend wedding. Interestingly, this wasn’t just any ordinary bride we were talking about; she was once revered as Australia’s bravest little girl. Yet, amidst the pomp and circumstance, she managed to maintain an air of playfulness and shared tender moments with her beloved new husband.

Among those present were doctors who had conducted over a hundred surgeries to help save Sophie’s life following two severe accidents in her childhood.

In 2003, when Sophie was only two years old, a car crashed into the window of her daycare center, pinning her under the debris. This tragic event prompted an outpouring of support and solidarity from Australians.

In the wake of the unfortunate event, over eighty-five percent of her body was severely burned. This incident also claimed both her feet, several fingers, and her right ear.

In the third year, another misfortune occurred as the little girl of five was unfortunate enough to get hit by a vehicle close to her residence in Sydney’s northern coastline, while she was out with her caretaker at that time.

The force sent her flying approximately 18 meters away from her wheelchair, resulting in a fractured jaw, broken collarbone, nine cracked ribs, punctured lungs, two fractured vertebrae, and a head injury.

During the distressing event, Sophie experienced a cardiac arrest, and the medical team at Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick inquired of her family on two occasions whether they wished to terminate her life-sustaining treatments.

However, the determined youngster astonishingly recuperated once more, and just a month after, she was discharged from the hospital and returned to her studies at school.

She’s celebrated many milestones in the years following the freak accidents.

In the ninth year of their education, a pair crossed paths at Oxford Falls Grammar, a combined Christian school. They were students there. Their relationship blossomed into an engagement in the year 2023, when Joseph proposed to her on Valentine’s Day, enveloping her in a sea of rose petals and flickering candles.

In my latest Instagram post, I confided that these past few months have made me feel as though I’ve experienced a multitude of lifetimes!

‘Frankie is such a wonderful baby, but even still, the days are long.

Although I yearn for my former lifestyle, motherhood has granted me an immense sense of purpose. The instances when he flashes a smile at me are more than enough to compensate for all the difficulties I’ve faced.
