David Beckham’s Top Haircut Chosen: Buzzcut Wins Before 50th Birthday Bash

David Beckham’s most popular haircut has been revealed – ahead of his milestone 50th birthday.

In his prime on the soccer field, the popular player showcased a variety of different styles.

However, among a poll of 1,000 fans conducted by Ladbrokes, his signature buzzcut from the noughties received the most votes, garnering support from 31% of respondents.

In the second spot, with a 23% popularity, was his long, bleached hairstyle resembling curtains, which had become trendy due to the influence of boy bands during that era.

third, he had a notable platinum-blond appearance which accounted for 22%, followed closely by his man bun accounting for 15%, and his mohawk slightly behind with 14%.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, merely 13% opted for his Alice band style, 10% preferred his cornrows, while 9% went for his faux-hawk appearance.

Ever since the former football player first appeared at Manchester United in 1993, he has sported an array of diverse hairstyles that have captured the attention of the nation.

The previous year, the fashion icon openly expressed that among all his hairstyles, it’s his cornrows from 2003, worn before meeting Nelson Mandela, that he most wishes he hadn’t sported.

The soccer player asserted that he spontaneously decided to adopt that daring fashion trend during a vacation in the French Riviera with his wife, Victoria Beckham, and their companions.

He explained: ‘We were there with family and one of Victoria’s friends who is a hairdresser.

In response to asking about styling my hair, she suggested cornrows, which I had never heard of before but agreed to anyway. Although the process was quite uncomfortable, I ended up liking the final look.

When folks inquire if I harbor any hairdo regrets, I can honestly say that I have no such feelings about any of them. However, I must admit that I slightly wish I hadn’t gone for the cornrows.

On Saturday, they installed it, and on Monday, I boarded a flight with the England team heading to South Africa for a match.

‘I was fortunate enough to shake hands with the esteemed Nelson Mandela, and I have a photograph of us together – me with cornrows in my hair as he held my hand. My one regret is that I don’t have more photos or memories with him.’

In the Netflix documentary about Beckham, David emphatically stated that he didn’t cut his hair short in 2000 to seek attention, and at first, he was hesitant to remove his hat when Sir Alex Ferguson requested it.

He said: ‘I never did it to create attention. I’m not that person.’

Sir Alex said: ‘When David shaved his head, I honestly thought a member of my family had died.

‘Because my phone went off. The panic in people’s voices’.

Next week, it’s confirmed that David will be together with his elder son, Brooklyn, at his 50th birthday celebration, thereby putting an end to any speculations about a family dispute.

On Friday, May 2nd, the ex-footballer plans to mark his significant birthday by hosting an extravagant dinner party at three-Michelin-starred restaurant Core in London.

In reports, it appears that Brooklyn Beckham (age 26) and his wife Nicola Peltz are expected to attend, along with David and Victoria Beckham’s other children: Romeo Beckham (22), Cruz Beckham (20), and Harper Beckham (13). Additionally, celeb friends like Tom Cruise and David’s former soccer teammates from the Class of ’92 are said to be on the list as well.

At Core, their team of chefs has meticulously crafted a unique menu specifically tailored for the festivities, according to a source who shared with The Sun that David desires a more personal gathering at his preferred London eatery, where he can celebrate with his cherished family.

David is pulling out all the stops for his 50th birthday celebration, and although a dinner party might seem modest, it’s going to be an unforgettable event, as the source clarified.

Brooklyn, Nicola, Romeo, Cruz, Harper, and both their parents have been included; it’s truly a family event filled with love and togetherness.

David is hosting a grand party in Miami for his American friends, however, instead of a large gathering, he desires a more private celebration on his actual birthday, which falls on Friday, May 2nd.

Brooklyn Beckham’s homecoming follows news about a widening gap in his relationship with his parents, the Beckhams.

Last month, neither Brooklyn nor Nicola attended David’s Miami party, nor did they spend Easter with his family.

Ever since my beloved elder sibling seemed to skip over the occasion of my iconic Spice Girls momma’s birthday last week – a stark contrast to his regular heartfelt social media shout-outs – whispers of a family rift have been swirling around in my head, dear fan.

In my role as a lifestyle expert, I find it interesting to note that neither myself nor my partner failed to extend warm birthday wishes to dear Victoria on her 51st birthday last Thursday. Conversely, David, Romeo, and Cruz took to social media to express their heartfelt congratulations and well-wishes.

Later on, it was disclosed that the relationship seems to be tense again between Brooklyn and Nicola, as well as with his parents, in the run-up to David’s upcoming ‘close-knit family’ 50th birthday celebration.

Rather than showcasing our newlywed bliss with opulent photos from our grand Palm Beach, Florida wedding in 2022, we opted to delight our followers with snapshots of our electrifying adventure at the Coachella music festival in sunny Indio, California instead.

Additionally, there is apprehension that Brooklyn and his spouse might unexpectedly choose not to join the family for the festivities surrounding David’s birthday party.

An associate recently shared with The Mail that David deeply cherishes his sons and is incredibly pleased by the strong bond they share.

‘He loves having a happy family that loves spending time together.

For him, family means the world. Raised in a working-class household where he was deeply bonded with his grandparents and parents, he cherishes most the sight of his sons and Harper sharing a strong bond.

As a devoted admirer, let me tell you that the venue, with its breathtaking beauty, is truly a sight to behold. Yet, amidst this picturesque setting, what I yearn for most is the company of my cherished family, their smiles and laughter echoing around me. Regrettably, at present, our bond appears strained, which casts a shadow over my otherwise radiant dream.

Everyone surrounding David eagerly wishes that they can fix any problems in time for the significant event – for David’s sake.

On various family gatherings over the last year, it’s not uncommon that Brooklyn and Nicola haven’t attended: in fact, they’ve been conspicuously absent from many such events.

But to miss David’s 50th birthday would, say those close to him, be incredibly hurtful.

Friends of the Beckhams assert that Brooklyn has informed his parents he plans to attend, while it is also suggested that Nicola may choose to join them.

Despite this, it’s evident that some uncertainty persists: ‘They were both warmly welcomed as cherished family members,’ the friend pointed out.

‘But you never know, Brooklyn and Nicola will do what they want to do.’

A different friend mentioned that it could devastate David significantly if the disagreements persist and escalate into major issues.

It would bring an enormous joy to David if he could see all his children and their spouses enjoying each other’s company on his birthday, creating a truly delightful atmosphere. This is what truly brightens up his day.
