Robert De Niro’s Heartwarming Response to Daughter’s Transgender Revelation

Respected actor Robert De Niro‘s child, Airyn De Niro, has openly declared her identity. In response, her father has voiced his approval for Airyn, emphasizing that his love for Airyn remains unchanged, as profound as it was prior to her personal journey.

Initially, I cherished and nurtured Aaron as my son, but now I am doing the same for Airyn, my daughter. Frankly, I don’t understand what the fuss is about. In essence, I care deeply for all my kids.

Airyn, who is one of Robert De Niro’s seven kids and a twin with her brother Julian, opened up about why she felt compelled to announce her identity as transgender. She emphasized that it was high time for her to be recognized for who she truly is. In a heartfelt interview, Airyn expressed gratitude towards her parents, Toukie Smith and Robert De Niro, for making efforts to ensure she had a typical upbringing, despite the limelight that their family often finds itself in.

In that interview, I expressed, “There’s a distinction between being observable and truly understood.” I’ve certainly been noticeable up until now, but I haven’t felt like I’ve been truly perceived or recognized yet.

She went on to say, “Seeing transgender women be truthful and open, particularly in public arenas such as social media, and witnessing their achievements… It strikes me that perhaps there’s still a chance for me. Perhaps I can embark on a new beginning.

Airyn stated, “A significant aspect of my transformation is greatly impacted by Black women. I believe embracing this fresh identity and becoming even prouder of my Black heritage brings me a sense of closeness to them.

In her quest to discover herself and carve out a niche in the entertainment industry, she’s been on a journey to find her unique path. Over the last seven years, she has diligently chased opportunities in voice acting and modeling, yet many casting directors have either ignored her (ghosted) or turned down her applications. Despite setbacks with projects like Euphoria and Arcane: League of Legends, which she applied for but didn’t secure, she remains hopeful that someday her story can inspire others.

In my journey, I aspire to serve as an inspiration for at least one soul similar to myself – a Black individual, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and someone who doesn’t conform to the standard size extra small. I long for more representation of transgender women, more Black women who may not fit the conventional mold of being thin or “heroin chic.

Robert De Niro’s Recent Work

Robert De Niro, his daughter’s father, has recently been seen in a movie playing two mob boss characters. He also starred in the Netflix series “Zero Day” as a former President. Upcoming projects include an action thriller titled “Tin Soldier” with Jamie Foxx and another crime thriller called “The Whisper Man” featuring Michael Keaton. It’s been reported that De Niro will reprise his role in a future project as well.
