Doja Cat Goes Naked in Jaw-Dropping Wrecking Ball Tribute Music Video!
Fans were left spellbound when Doja Cat daringly replicated one of the most debated and explicit pop music videos ever made.
On a Wednesday, the 29-year-old rapper took inspiration from Miley Cyrus in the music video for her hotly awaited song, “Lose My Mind.” She shed her garments and went for a wild ride on top of an engine, all while covered in just black oil.
The artist who created “Paint The Town Red” seemed to be recreating the iconic scene from 2013 when the three-time Grammy Award winner, aged 32 at the time, famously perched on a swinging wrecking ball.
In just one day following the launch of Cyrus’s controversial music video for “Wrecking Ball,” it broke the Vevo record by amassing an impressive 19.3 million views.
The video, with the ex-Disney Channel celebrity seen licking a sledgehammer at some point, now boasts more than 1.2 billion views.
As a devoted fan, I must acknowledge that there might have been a sprinkle of inspiration drawn from Cyrus. However, when it comes to the captivating music video we all adore, Doja Cat and her collaborator Don Toliver truly forged their unique path.
In the video, Toliver gets behind the wheel as Doja rocks various futuristic looks.
In collaboration, the artists have teamed up for a track titled “Lose My Mind,” set to appear in the upcoming action film about Formula 1, starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris.
They wrote the song, alongside producers Ryan Tedder and Hans Zimmer.
As a lifestyle aficionado, let me share some exciting news: On June 27th, the much-anticipated F1 The Album will be unveiled, coinciding with the premiere of the Apple Original Film, where Brad Pitt and Idris Elba take on electrifying roles as rival Formula One drivers.
Title “F1” features Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem in its cast. The plot revolves around retired Formula One racer Sonny Hayes, portrayed by Brad Pitt, who makes a comeback to racing after a severe accident, this time to guide young talent Joshua ‘Noah’ Pearce, played by Idris Elba, on the track.
Pitt and Idris spent several months honing their skills, not just for their parts, but they were also schooled in the specific craft of this type of racing by seven-time world champion Sir Lewis Hamilton.
The movie was filmed at various Formula One races held around the globe over the past few years.
Among the principal actors gracing our screen are Shea Whigham, Joseph Balderrama, Sarah Niles, Samson Kayo, Callie Cooke, Will Merrick, and Layne Harper.

Recently, Doja Cat revealed a 16-song tracklist for her upcoming album Vie, featuring tunes such as “Turn the Lights On,” “Slide,” “One More Time,” “Make It Up,” “Lipstain,” “Kink,” and “Jealous Type” among others.
After her 2023 album titled Scarlet, which she described as a “fairly angry project” during an interview with Jack Harlow on Present Space last year, it will be released next.
She mentioned that the purpose of that album seemed to be expressing and illustrating her internal struggles with anger, as well as highlighting self-defense and love.
Doja explained: ‘This feels like my chance to stand up for myself against all, a moment where I declare that I’m not just here for others’ amusement, but primarily for myself.’
