In the recent TFT update 14.3, Riot Prism (Rodger Caudill) disclosed that several champions, including Morgana, Zyra, Braum, Gragas, Yuumi, Aphelios, Cho’Gath, Vex, Xayah, Smaira, and Urgot, received boosts in their abilities. Conversely, adjustments to tone down their power were made to Jhin, Twisted Fate, Vayne, Veigar, Jarvan IV, Rengar, Aurora, and Viego. A.M.P. (Aggressive Movement Passive) was also mentioned in the update.

In this update, traits like Anima Squad and A.M.P. have been strengthened, whereas Folden Ox and Dynamo have received power reductions. Other modifications include the introduction of fresh Hacks and a revamp of Kobuko.

TFT Mortdog: No more patch rundowns

As per usual, Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer of Riot Games has posted an early preview of the TFT 14.3 update on his YouTube channel. However, it seems that this might be his last such update for some time. On April 28th, he announced that he will be taking a break from TFT patch rundowns, streaming, and other related activities for a while.

As a gamer, I’ve decided to take some time off from the limelight for a bit. The past few weeks, even months, under the microscope as the focus for much of the discontent surrounding TFT has been quite taxing. A simple glance at my recent tweets and the replies they garner is enough to confirm this.

I’ve been facing an overwhelming amount of negativity lately, and honestly, it’s draining. People have even told me I’m putting too much into this, but I don’t know how else to say it other than ‘the trolls are getting the best of me.’ It’s tough to confess, especially after six years of gaming, but I need a break. I just can’t take any more of it.

Mortdog’s summary reviews aren’t compulsory for his role at Riot Games; instead, they’ve always been something he does willingly. Community members like Dan “Frodan” Chou and Bwoffa have expressed that this departure is a loss for the TFT community.
