Watch the first trailer for Sean Bean’s new British movie with Taskmaster star
The initial teaser for the forthcoming film titled “Deep Cover” featuring Sean Bean has been released, boasting a star-studded cast that includes Nick Mohammed from “Taskmaster ” and “Ted Lasso“, along with Orlando Bloom and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Initially, we encounter Kat, an impoverished improv instructor, who is the main character in a film streamed on Amazon Prime Video, based in the United Kingdom.
Shortly after, she encounters Detective Sergeant DS Billings, a covert police officer. He intends to recruit her for the police department’s innovative strategy, where improvisation actors are deployed to blend with criminal groups.

She consents to work together with her pupils, Muhammad’s Hugh and Blossom’s Marlon, as the three of them employ her acting abilities to seek justice. However, they swiftly discover that their agreement involves more challenges than anticipated, particularly when they uncover that Hugh, in particular, seems ill-suited for a world dealing with criminal elements.
According to director Tom Kingsley, the actors found themselves in increasingly challenging scenarios due to Hugh’s excessive application of the improv principle ‘yes and’, pushing them towards more high-risk situations, as he explained to Entertainment Weekly.
The issue arises when Hugh requests something extra, which often leads to them dealing drugs. Unfortunately, this could connect them with the drug-trafficking gang. That’s certainly not part of Billings’ plans.
As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to share that this upcoming movie promises an exhilarating blend of humor and excitement! The gifted cast is set to deliver loads of laughter, while the trailer hints at an abundance of action scenes, complete with high-speed car chases and a generous dose of gunplay. I can hardly wait!
Last year, Tushar Jindal, head of content for UK Prime Video, expressed excitement in a statement about the upcoming action-comedy: “We’re thrilled to present this fresh action-comedy to our viewers. Featuring a stellar cast, a talented creative crew, and an outstanding script, we believe it will be highly successful.
Additionally, the film boasts a number of well-known actors such as Paddy Considine from “House of the Dragon,” Sonoya Mizuno known for her role in “Crazy Rich Asians,” and Ian McShane, famously seen in “John Wick.
Deep Cover will be available to stream on Prime Video from 12 June.
