Walton Goggins’ Dental Drama Resurfaces Amid White Lotus Feud and SNL Controversy
The dramatic transformation of Walton Goggins‘ teeth is once again causing a stir, and now it seems to be connected to the aftermath of an alleged backstage disagreement between him and his fellow star from The White Lotus, Aimee Lou Wood.
It’s been suggested that there may be tension between the pair who portrayed a romantic duo in the popular series on HBO Max, as viewers have pointed out that they no longer follow one another on Instagram, fueling talk of strained relations.
The situation became more intense as Wood wept following a Saturday Night Live skit that ridiculed her smile using oversized fake teeth, which she found both harsh and unamusing. Meanwhile, it was noticed that Goggins had liked the video on social media.
Overwhelmed with joy, I couldn’t help but burst out laughing when SNL shared their video! It’s uncertain if David Goggins was commenting on the entire skit or just the bit about Wood, but either way, it was simply hilarious!
Currently, enthusiasts are shedding light once more on Goggins – they’re digging up old photos from the red carpet, earlier snapshots of his roles, and a 2016 interview in which he shared insights about his evolving smile.
During the interview, Goggins shared about his dental issues, disclosing a past accident from his childhood which caused him to lose his two front teeth.

In the 5th grade, I arrived late for baseball practice, which resulted in me having to run a lap as punishment. As I was sprinting towards center field, I distinctly remember someone calling out “Walton,” according to my recollection on Conan’s show.
As I turned, a baseball unexpectedly hit me squarely in the mouth, causing my two front teeth to fall out and land beside me.
He said, “They grew strong and intertwined,” and all was well until approximately one and a half years later when I accidentally dislodged them by diving headfirst into a shallow pool and hitting the ground below.
Currently, certain fans are wondering why Wood faced mockery for her genuine smile, whereas Goggins’ changing grin has mainly gone unnoticed – until recently.
During an episode on her show “On The Nerve with Maureen Callahan”, Maureen Callahan pointed out that David Goggins, who joined “Justified” in May 2010 for its second season, had what she described as “not great dentures”.
She remarked, “They appear significantly improved, though they’re not flawless, but they seem much more suited to his face.
Callahan further mentioned that it’s evident he has improved his smile, given that he is now a leading actor on one of the most prominent television series in history.
David Goggins is once again under the limelight, with news of his upcoming hosting role on Saturday Night Live (SNL) surfacing – all while a debate continues over SNL’s controversial skit that left Wood in tears.

In the comedy sketch named “The White POTUS,” Saturday Night Live creatively depicted the Trump family and other political figures enjoying a getaway reminiscent of the style seen in the show “White Lotus.
In a different rendering, the character Rick, as depicted by Goggins, was portrayed as resembling Robert F. Kennedy Jr., delivering an impassioned speech advocating for the removal of all fluoride from our drinking water.
The camera shifted focus to the character of Chelsea, portrayed by Sarah Sherman as Aimee. She entered the scene with overly prominent front teeth and inquired, “What’s fluoride?” in a humorous manner.
Aimee didn’t mince words in her criticism, harshly criticizing the segment as lacking both effort and compassion: ‘It’s unfortunate because I enjoyed it two weeks ago. Of course, make fun – that’s what the show is all about – but can’t there be a smarter, more subtle, less crass approach?’
She added that she’d received ‘thousands’ of supportive messages from fans and her sister Emily.
She expressed that she isn’t sensitive or easily offended. Instead, she enjoys a bit of friendly teasing, especially if it’s intelligent and done with good humor. However, the jest centered around fluoride, but she wants to clarify that her teeth aren’t flawed, they just have noticeable gaps.
I’m fine with satire, I get it’s their style at SNL. However, the remainder of the sketch seemed to be mocking others while leaving Chelsea out as the target. That doesn’t sit well with me.
Aimee concluded her statement by resharing a comment from a fan that read, ‘The skit was witty and amusing until it abruptly veered into 1970’s sexism,’ to which she agreed, saying, ‘That’s exactly how I feel.’

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself delighting in the apparent easing of tensions, subtly hinted by my recent act of goodwill. After recognizing a remarkable fan artwork depicting me and Goggins, characters from The White Lotus, I decided to share it on my platform. This gesture could be seen as an olive branch, implying that the cooler winds of tranquility may have begun to blow.
The artwork was posted to her Instagram Stories with no caption — but it spoke volumes.
The post came amid reports the two are expected to reunite soon for a professional obligation.
Entertainment reporter Elizabeth Wagmeister mentioned on The Viall Files podcast that she’s heard, off-the-record, they plan to collaborate on a professional project within the next few weeks.
If there truly is a disagreement, it seems it doesn’t hinder them… They can certainly be in the same space, according to Wagmeister, suggesting that this rift might not be as intense as some of the other alleged co-star conflicts, such as the one between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
It turned out unexpectedly that Aimee disclosed she had received a sincere apology from SNL cast member Sarah Sherman – just a few days following an instance where Aimee was spotted weeping in London.
On her Instagram Story, Aimee shared a picture of a stunning flower arrangement and wrote, ‘I’m grateful for these lovely blooms.’
The main character from “The White Lotus” clarified that her problem was not with Sherman as an individual but rather with the sketch itself: ‘I wasn’t being mean towards her – I was criticizing the performance.’
