Gillian Anderson has spoken about the upcoming The X-Files reboot.
As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to share that the legendary sci-fi saga is making its grand comeback under the visionary guidance of Ryan Coogler, who has previously captivated us with his work on “Black Panther” and “Sinners”. This time around, we’ll be introduced to a fresh and multicultural ensemble of characters.
Since the character played by Agent Dana Scully significantly boosted the actor’s career, it’s not surprising that the discussion about a new series came up during her interview on today’s ‘This Morning’.
Initially, when Cat Deeley inquired if she could pose an X-Files style question, Gillian politely declined the offer.
On the other hand, co-host Ben Shephard chimed in, sharing that he had heard about this topic from a podcast conversation between Coogler and Gillian. The director reportedly discussed it with her.
As I found myself still dwelling on the topic, I shared my thoughts with him, saying: “You’d be the ideal candidate for such a task, if ever there was one. Good fortune to you, good fortune. Give me a call when you can.

If the phone rings with good news and it seems like an appropriate moment, then maybe that’s what I suggested.
Ben enthusiastically declared, “Gillian has arrived!”, as the actor stated, “This is what everyone will write and discuss.
The star appeared on “This Morning” to discuss her latest movie, “The Salt Path.” She was joined by Raynor Winn, whose true tale inspired a hugely popular book and is now brought to life in this film adaptation.

The movie chronicles the story of Gillian, accompanied by her spouse Moth (portrayed by Jason Isaacs from “The White Lotus”), embarking on a lengthy expedition through the wilderness following their financial collapse and a tragic medical prognosis.
In the future, you can expect the actor to feature in Disney’s upcoming sci-fi film “Tron: Ares,” Ben Affleck’s latest project “Animals,” and two television series titled “The Abandons” and “Trespasses.”
Or, more casually:
The actor is set to be seen in Disney’s next sci-fi flick “Tron: Ares,” Ben Affleck’s new movie “Animals,” as well as the TV shows “The Abandons” and “Trespasses.
1. “The Salt Path hits theaters on May 30th.”
2. “You can stream The X-Files with a Disney+, Paramount+, or Sky subscription.”
