Jennifer Lawrence was spotted looking chic and relaxed while out and about with her second child in New York City on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old actress, a stay-at-home mom, was dressed casually in a loose denim shirt, baggy jeans, and light blue ballet flats.

She tried to avoid being noticed, wearing a white baseball cap and dark sunglasses while pushing her baby in a black stroller.

Long blonde hair peeked out from under her hat, and she carried a brown suede bag over her shoulder.

The actress and her husband, Cooke Maroney, share two sons. She has a four-year-old son named Cy, and a younger son whose name and age haven’t been made public.

In an interview on the Smartless podcast earlier this year, Jennifer Lawrence shared that she’s only incredibly busy when promoting her films, and otherwise enjoys a peaceful, low-key lifestyle.

I’m a stay-at-home mom, but that definitely doesn’t mean I’m not working! This level of busyness is new to me. When I’m filming, I have a few intense months, but even then, it’s a different kind of busy – it’s focused, and I don’t have other things demanding my attention.

My routine is pretty simple: I go to work, come home, and sleep, then repeat the next day. The two weeks spent on promotion are especially busy and stressful.

That same month, the Academy Award-winning actress was a guest on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast, where she talked about her fashion sense.

After complimenting the actress’s style, Amy Poehler asked her about her approach to choosing clothes and what clothes mean to her.

Lawrence explained that he frequently declutters his belongings. He believes living in New York City makes it easier to avoid accumulating unnecessary items, preferring to keep only things he truly loves.

Although she hasn’t officially announced her second child’s name, people noticed she was carrying a beaded keychain with the names ‘Cy’ and ‘Louie’ on it in September 2025, leading to speculation about the baby’s name.

She told Amy Poehler she aims for a ‘laid-back’ look, explaining that she only roughly decides what to wear when taking her kids to school.

The fashion expert also shared some key styling tips: oversized pieces look best paired with other oversized items, and when mixing loose and fitted clothing, avoid wearing a tight top with baggy bottoms – otherwise, the outfit can look unbalanced. She jokingly compared the unflattering look to a lamp.

She emphasized that pairing loose-fitting pants with a fitted top works, but the opposite – tight pants with a loose top – doesn’t.

Lawrence shared that dealing with postpartum anxiety after her second child actually prepared her for her role in the November 2025 film, Die My Love.

In the comedy-drama film, she portrays Grace, a mother facing the challenges of raising a child alone, and she drew on her own personal experiences to prepare for the part.

She explained that her postpartum anxiety didn’t become severe until after her second child, adding that having another baby seemed to make things more difficult.

You definitely don’t need to be a parent yourself to play one, but knowing what a baby or young child needs and wants really helped with the role.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Apparently, she told Graham Norton that Lynne Ramsay made her and Robert Pattinson do an interpretive dance… completely naked! Can you even imagine?! She said it just happened after Ramsay asked for it. I’m still reeling! It’s just… iconic, honestly. I need to rewatch the interview immediately!

During rehearsals, director Lynne Ramsay pushed us to try new things. Robert and I ended up taking interpretative dance lessons together, which was incredibly awkward. We were both easily embarrassed and didn’t know each other well, making the whole experience pretty humiliating.

Oh my god, you will NOT believe this! So, the very first day on set, she just casually asked if we remembered all the crazy stuff we’d talked about… and then she asked if we’d actually do it, completely naked! I nearly fainted, it was insane!
