Kate Moss Stuns in Black Midi Dress While Her Wellness Brand Faces Major Trouble

At The Lavery in London on Tuesday, Kate Moss graced the scene alongside Jaime Winstone and Patsy Kensit, adding a touch of glamour to the unveiling of Issue 8.5.

51-year-old supermodel flaunted her remarkable physique in a sleek black midi dress and radiated self-assuredness while striking captivating poses for some hot photos.

Kate elevated herself with towering heels and adorned herself with large golden jewelry, while her cascading golden tresses hung in relaxed curls.

Simultaneously, at the age of 39, Jamie flaunted her unique fashion sense in a deep blue blouse and thigh-high leather shorts, accessorized with laced-up tall heels.

As I, being accompanied by my son Lennon Gallagher, graced the party, I turned heads in a sleek, form-fitting black midi dress. Sharing the moment with my dear friend Kate, we cozied up together, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event.

The luxury event was hosted by Perfect Magazine & Burberry to celebrate Kate and Ray Winstone.

After learning that my beloved brand, Cosmoss, narrowly escaped liquidation, I can’t help but share my excitement about Kate’s recent appearance. Newly disclosed official documents indicate that the looming threat of compulsory dissolution has been withdrawn. I’m just overjoyed to see Cosmoss thrive!

Only a few weeks following the issuance of the formal warning that the company might be delisted, Companies House announces that they have suspended the planned removal.

As a dedicated enthusiast, I can’t help but share the latest news: the Registrar of Companies has made it clear they won’t be taking any additional steps. The reason? They’ve found sufficient justification for Cosmoss’s continued listing in their registry.

In February, it was disclosed by The Mail that Cosmoss might be removed from the registry, raising worries about the prospective fate of Moss’s highly-anticipated lifestyle endeavor.

2022 saw the grand debut of Cosmoss, generating quite a buzz with its promise to blend Moss’s iconic modeling style with a health-focused business venture. The offerings span across various categories, from teas and skincare products to £105 ‘holy water’ sprays meant for spiritual refreshment.

However, although the company appears to have avoided a legal issue for now, its digital quietness and online chaos is leaving fans puzzled about the brand’s actions.

Even though there was a break, Cosmoss has not updated its Instagram page since February, which is quite uncommon as this brand typically shares content frequently, utilizing its distinctive, dark green theme and lifestyle narratives.

The last post, on 20 February, is filled with customer complaints.

One fan expressed concern, saying, “It appears there’s a problem with your European online store. I’ve been trying to buy items, but the shopping cart won’t load, whether I use my iPhone or Mac. I’d really like to place an order if possible.

Another replied saying they were having the same problem.

A third person chimed in, saying, “Four days ago, I made an order but I can’t track its progress since the site keeps giving me errors.

Trying to put items into the shopping cart on Cosmoss’s main site now just leaves the cart empty, which means you can’t finish a transaction.

Increasing the bewilderment, various items from Cosmoss have lately popped up on Boop Beauty at reduced prices, reaching as much as 69% off. This could imply a mass liquidation or perhaps a change in their distribution tactics.

TopMob has contacted a representative for Kate for comment.

In 2022, when Kate introduced Cosmoss, she expressed that it would provide an entryway to ‘harmony, rejuvenation, and affection.’

However, it’s important to note that this wasn’t a new issue, as reports suggest the wellness company had already accumulated over £405,000 in debt to its lenders by April 2023.

This skincare company offers a variety of products such as 20 herbal tea bags priced at £20 each, along with fragrances and moisturizing creams. Among their offerings is a regenerative face oil priced at £105 and a Sacred Mist room spray that retails for £125.

On its launch on September 1, 2022, Kate asserted that Cosmoss was designed as ‘self-care tailored for contemporary adventures.’

It’s been compared to a British equivalent of Gwyneth Paltrow’s U.S. company, Goop. Most recently, Kate joined the ranks of celebrities venturing into the health and wellness industry.

Kate’s skincare line features products crafted from powerful, natural ingredients that are divided into three daily routines, each designed to harmonize body, mind, and surroundings with the natural world and our internal clock (circadian rhythm).

The site explains that these rituals are designed to help us synchronize with nature’s pace, foster inner tranquility, promote personal realization, and provide access to harmony, healing, and affection.

The complete set of the three rituals is priced over £400 individually, and the well-known Golden Nectar serum, famed for its alleged ingredients of Chios tears and Greek island plant resin, retails at £105 on its own.

The morning routine, which imbues the body with ‘favorable vitality’, amounts to a grand total of £287 and encompasses:

1. An antioxidant ‘morning tea’ priced at £21.
2. A cleanser that costs £52.
3. An anti-aging face cream, which sets you back £95.

2023 saw Kate triumph in a court case against a pharmaceutical company regarding the name of her brand, Cosmoss, as reported by The Daily Mail.

In simpler terms, it implies that she’s legally protected the name “Cosmoss” for various product lines, including natural remedies used for healing, as well as nutritional and mineral supplements, in her recent business endeavor.

According to Richard Eden from The Daily Mail, Kate harbored grand aspirations for the Cosmoss brand back then.

In the year 2022, Kate submitted an application to the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) for trademarking Cosmoss, encompassing items like aromatherapy candles, vitamin supplements, teas, magazines, videos, and home furnishings. However, a Danish company named Pharmacosmos raised objections against her application.

The business, specializing in creating items for people experiencing iron deficiency, has been operating successfully for over half a century.

The objection raised against Kate’s application was based on a potential for misunderstanding, however, this opposition was subsequently withdrawn.

At the IPO filing, it was revealed that Cosmoss had decided not to register trademarks for products designed to treat iron deficiency. This means there will be no conflict with the Danish company regarding these goods.

In March 2024, the brand encountered another wave of criticism after Kate claimed to have discovered a miraculous eczema cure, surpassing what global top scientists have achieved.

Using just a single application of the newly purchased £105 Golden Nectar skin oil, she claimed, surprisingly provided immediate relief from eczema or another persistent skin problem, psoriasis.

In that video conversation with Alessandra Steinherr, which they shared on Cosmo’s Instagram, she mentions, “It turned out to be a secret: we didn’t realize it when we created it; we uncovered it later on.

For my acquaintances dealing with conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or any sort of rashes or bites, applying this solution seems to make them disappear overnight.

On the NHS site, it’s indicated that neither eczema nor psoriasis have a cure. These conditions can cause discomfort and be visually distressing. Typically, their symptoms are managed using moisturizers along with creams and ointments to alleviate inflammation and redness during outbreaks.

Kate faced criticism from the NHS’s leading physician, Professor Sir Stephen Powis, regarding allegedly misleading health statements she had made.

Previously, the company faced issues with U.S. federal officials concerning proposals to sell a wellness product derived from cannabis.
