The countdown commences when a Department of Homeland Security officer is brutally slain in public, leading LAPD detective Mark Meachum (Jensen Ackles) to join a secretive task force comprised of agents from multiple law enforcement agencies. Initially, it seems like a simple murder case, but soon, darker and more ominous secrets surface. As a result, the countdown timer starts ticking, and the team must act swiftly to thwart a disaster that could potentially devastate a city teeming with millions of people.
It’s been disclosed that the series Countdown will make its debut on Prime Video with an initial run of three episodes.
