Peaky Blinders is BACK?! Season 7 SHOCKER!
According to recent reports, it appears that the gripping series “Peaky Blinders” is gearing up for another season filled with criminal intrigue, as production is slated to commence this coming summer.
The upcoming television series is set to debut in the 1950s era, and BBC executives are anticipating a broadcast date sometime next year, hoping to capitalize on the heightened curiosity following the premiere of the Peaky Blinders movie, “The Immortal Man,” as reported by The Sun.
The sixth series concluded in the 1930s, and the movie takes place during World War II. Consequently, the next series will likely be set some years later.
The upcoming episodes are predicted to delve into the ’50s, a period marked by the emergence of fierce Teddy Boy gangs and the ascent of the notorious Kray twins in London.
According to a source close to the production, it was intended that the sixth season would serve as the final chapter, wrapping up the storyline in the concluding movie.
However, it was hard for boss Steven Knight to stay away. For some time now, he had been giving subtle signs that he yearned for more involvement.

With the BBC’s official go-ahead for the project, the pre-production phase is now active, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what’s to come.
The filming is set to start in September and will initially broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom. Later, it’s planned for global distribution through Netflix, who are also financially supporting this project.
The British crime drama series known as “Peaky Blinders” aired from 2013 up until 2022, chronicling the story of the Shelby family across the time period between the late 1919s, through the Roaring Twenties and into the early 1930s.
In the potential future, actor Cillian Murphy, known for his recent movie roles, might reappear in the series as Thomas Shelby. However, this time he could take on a mentor-like role towards a newer group of gangsters, much like Helen McCrory’s character Polly Gray was to them, but in a ‘father figure’ capacity instead.
After the TV series ended, Steven Knight dropped multiple hints that the story would continue.
Speaking about the film, he recently said: ‘The world of Peaky will continue.’
TopMob contacted the BBC for a comment, who have declined to comment.
In the 1950s, a group of youths emerged, characterized by their preference for Edwardian fashion and a reputation for engaging in physical conflicts. These stylish young men were often referred to as Teddy Boys.

Frequently, they would be found with switchblades and brass knuckles, causing significant concern for law enforcement back then.
The Kray twins, Ronnie and Reggie, rose to power in London in the late 1950s and 1960s.
They managed illegal criminal activities, such as protection scams, and earned infamy as prominent figures in the annals of British criminal lore.
Their connections with celebrities and their brutal methods made them infamous across the country.
