Clavicular shares update from ‘brutal’ hospitalization following suspected overdose amid unsettling livestream from ‘looksmaxxer’

Clavicular has announced he’s back home after being hospitalized Tuesday night. He was taken to the hospital after a possible overdose during a livestream that abruptly stopped.

Okay, so you won’t BELIEVE this about Braden Eric Peters, the 20-year-old ‘looksmaxxer‘! I’ve been following his journey for ages, and apparently things got SO bad, he actually needed a life support mask! I was absolutely shocked when I heard. It’s just… unbelievable that pushing for physical perfection could lead to something like that. I’m seriously worried about him.

On Wednesday morning, he shared a selfie on X (formerly Twitter) showing red marks on his face.

He previously shared that he has autism and explained that he used substances to try and feel like everyone else when he was in public, which ultimately resulted in the frightening experience.

I just got home, and that was really tough. I rely on substances to feel normal when I’m around other people, but I know it’s not a lasting fix.

‘The worst part of tonight was my face descending from the life support mask.’

A CPR mask, sometimes called a pocket mask or face shield, is an important tool when helping someone experiencing a drug overdose. The CPR Care Association explains that overdoses can cause breathing to slow or stop, and using a mask to give rescue breaths provides oxygen until medical help arrives, all while avoiding direct contact.

During a livestream earlier in the evening, the influencer started speaking incoherently and appeared to struggle, prompting his coworkers to try and assist him.

Police received a call around 8:45 PM Eastern Time on Tuesday reporting a possible drug overdose of a 20-year-old man on South Miami Avenue in Miami. The man, identified as Clavicular, was found inside the location.

TMZ first reported that Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, was hospitalized and may have overdosed.

While live streaming on Kick, Clavicular and two friends were at a club booth when one of them asked him how intoxicated he was.

Clavicular laughed and mumbled something that couldn’t be understood. Someone then put a glass of water in front of him, and he seemed to collapse afterward.

Someone offered Clavicular Adderall three times before he suddenly slumped forward on the table during his livestream, which then abruptly ended.

Videos shared on social media seem to show Clavicular being helped into an ambulance by two people. Reporter Taylor Lorenz was informed early Wednesday that he is in stable condition, though still experiencing periods of consciousness and unconsciousness after a seizure.

There are reports suggesting Clavicular uses methamphetamine to control his appetite and maintain his physique.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following this trend called ‘looksmaxxing’ online, and honestly, some of the advice is pretty out there. There’s this one creator, Clavicular, who encourages young men to drastically change their appearance, even suggesting things like intentionally breaking facial bones – believing they’ll heal stronger. It’s a really controversial idea, and definitely something I advise approaching with extreme caution – or avoiding altogether!

He also advocates for steroid use, admitting that he has taken testosterone since he was 14.

He thinks physical attractiveness is key for a man to succeed, particularly when it comes to attracting women.

As someone who’s been following the looksmaxxing scene, I’ve noticed some really troubling connections to the ideas shared by incels – that’s men who are involuntarily celibate. It’s honestly disturbing because these incels often harbor a lot of anger and resentment towards women, stemming from their inability to find romantic or sexual partners. It’s something I really try to distance myself from within the community.

During a recent 60 Minutes Australia interview, Clavicular became defensive when questioned about the similarities between incels and his followers, whom he calls ‘looksmaxxers’.

Peters clarified he has no connection to the incel community. He explained that ‘looksmaxxing’ – efforts to improve one’s physical appearance – is essentially self-improvement, and can be a way for someone to move away from identifying as an incel and overcome that mindset.

The interviewer followed up by asking about his connection to Andrew Tate, a social media figure currently being investigated in the UK and Romania for suspected involvement in human trafficking.

I’ve been hearing some buzz about Clavicular being seen at a Miami nightclub back in January. Apparently, he was hanging out with Tate and Nick Fuentes, who’s known for his white nationalist views. It’s definitely a surprising combination and sparking a lot of conversation!

The interviewer pointed out that I’ve associated with Andrew Tate and others who have attracted a lot of controversy, and asked me why I choose to spend time with them.

Clavicular quickly ended the conversation with a cheerful ‘Have a nice day,’ then stood up and walked away.

Clavicular was arrested on March 26th for a simple assault. Reporter Taylor Lorenz first reported the arrest, which occurred near Fort Lauderdale, and was based on a warrant issued by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office on March 9th.

Lorenz thought the accusation might stem from a fight between his girlfriend, Violet, and social media personality Jenny Popach.

Earlier this year, a fight between Violet and Popach happened during a live stream on Kick. The video quickly gained hundreds of thousands of views, showing the two hitting and pulling each other’s hair inside a home before someone intervened to stop them.

Clavicular was arrested, but not because of a video showing him shooting at a dead alligator in the Florida Everglades. The arrest was unrelated to the incident with the alligator.
