Robson Green shares update on new UK drama with Jason Watkins
Hey there fellow gamers! I’ve got some thrilling news to share about my latest UK drama, “Catch You Later”. Guess what? It’s almost here! Get ready to dive in and join me on this exciting journey.
In this new Channel 5 thriller, actor Jason Watkins, known for his role in McDonald & Dodds, takes on the part of Huw Miller, a former police detective who is troubled by an unresolved case involving a ruthless serial killer. The story revolves around this unsolved mystery that continues to haunt him.
When Patrick Harbottle (Green), the newly moved-in neighbor, echoes the murderer’s signature phrase, Huw becomes certain that he has at last apprehended his suspect.

Posting on Instagram about the upcoming series, Green shared a sneak peek photo of himself and Watkins, accompanied by this caption: “Coming soon! In ‘The Game,’ we meet retired detective Huw who gets pulled back into an old, haunting case, and things quickly become eerie.
Years past, I, much like detective Huw, couldn’t crack the mystery of The Ripton Stalker. Then came our new neighbor, Patrick, who eerily echoed the Stalker’s chilling sign-off: “I’ll catch you later.” That phrase sent a chill down my spine, and I found myself believing that, after all these years, I might have finally caught my man.
In the post, Green shared insights on collaborating with Watkins, expressing: “It was a blessing and an honor to work side by side with one of my most cherished actors ever.
Earlier, when discussing my role in the thriller, Green expressed excitement saying: “I’m really looking forward to working with Jason Watkins once more on the new Channel 5 series, Catch You Later. Jason is an incredibly gifted actor who consistently adds depth and subtlety to his characters.
Simultaneously, Watkins expressed enthusiasm about working on another suspenseful series for Channel 5, following the success of “Coma.” He noted that while this new project presents a unique challenge, it seems to have all the necessary elements for another exhilarating journey.
I’m really thrilled to collaborate with both Robson and Sunetra! Can’t wait to dive into this intricate and captivating screenplay as we start shooting.
