Strictly Star John Whaite Claims Waitrose Removed His Recipes After Joining OnlyFans

As a devoted fan and follower, I must share that celebrity chef John Whaite has expressed concerns, stating that the popular supermarket chain, Waitrose, has apparently taken down his recipes from their website shortly after his return to OnlyFans.

Previously a contestant on The Great British Bake Off, now aged 35, has his own collection of recipes available online through the supermarket’s website. His bio states: ‘John is a culinary expert, media personality, and writer who emerged victorious in The Great British Bake Off back in 2012.’

‘His books include Perfect Plates in 5 Ingredients and A Flash in the Pan.’

However, instead of navigating to John’s personal profile, visitors are redirected to a ‘Guest Recipes’ homepage showcasing recipes from eight different chefs, rather than John’s own collection.

John, who has lately been removed from an upcoming Peugeot automobile promotion, shared with his Instagram audience: “It appears that all my recipe links on Waitrose have been redirected to similar recipes by others – it’s as if my work history with them no longer exists.

‘My catalogue of YouTube videos with them has also disappeared. It’s like I never existed.

‘No one at Waitrose informed me or told me why… I can only guess that it’s because I do OnlyFans.

‘So I’m sorry if you wanted to use one of my recipes and now cannot.

I understand our work on OF doesn’t fit their brand, and I would have accepted that if they had shown me some basic human decency. But erasing an entire collection of my hard work without any warning or opportunity to preserve the recipes first feels disrespectful.

A representative from Waitrose shared with The Sun that they routinely assess and update the recipes on their website, and they’re thankful for the efforts John has made in this regard.

TopMob has contacted Waitrose for comment.

After John confessed that he was experiencing a sense of resentment, this occurred when the automobile company declined to collaborate with him and demanded the return of his vehicle.

John recently rejoined the adult site after taking a break from posting on it.

Upon being informed, I was requested by Peugeot to discontinue sharing content related to their brand and returned the vehicle provided, as a result of my online posts containing racier imagery.

He shared a picture on his Instagram stories showing the car keys he was supposed to return, along with an OnlyFans keychain that he playfully attached to them.

He titled his post: ‘Upon sharing that I’d be joining OnlyFans, Peugeot UK discontinued our partnership and requested the return of their vehicle.’

‘So I’m returning it with a little bit of merch #I’mNotBitter #PornStarsCantDrivePeugeots.’

Each year, Peugeot partners with numerous content producers by offering vehicles or setting up chances to test drive the most recent model generations, as a representative for Peugeot stated.

We regularly assess our network of collaborators, and after thorough thought, we chose not to extend our current collaboration with John Whaite beyond its expiration date in March.

‘We understand John’s disappointment with our decision and wish him every success in the future.’

After John ended his silence, he disclosed the reason for his return to OnlyFans, explaining that his stint on daytime television had come to an end.

John shared a shirtless photo on his social media platform, accompanied by an extensive caption in which he openly declared that he’s seizing every moment of his existence with zest.

The Great British Baking Show champion explained his decision to return to the adult-content membership platform, sharing with his 297,000 fans that his 12-year television career had lost its spark for him.

In his extensive post, he explained the reason for his return to OnlyFans, which he had previously felt regretful about.

Initially, let’s keep in mind that some aspects of our identity might undergo transformation over time.

‘I for one don’t want to live my life stuck in a steadfast template that restricts my next move.

Additionally, I derive pleasure from expressing myself through performances. I find satisfaction in displaying my skills and abilities. I take pride in sculpting my physique and appreciating the outcomes of my efforts.

It’s not something everybody enjoys, and that’s perfectly fine – if you prefer not to eat meat, feel free to stroll past the butcher’s store.

Previously, working on late-night shows didn’t align with my duties in daytime television. However, I left the television industry 18 months ago and have not regretted that decision since then.

For over a dozen years, I enjoyed a remarkable professional journey, reaching some unforgettable pinnacles of success that I’ll carry with me throughout my lifetime with great pride.

Overall, I enjoyed my time there, formed some fantastic relationships that I hold dear, but the excitement and passion I once felt for it has faded. It no longer ignites the same spark in me.

After starting @ruffpuffbrownies and witnessing its success through dedication and attention, I’ve gained insights into various aspects of running a business – from creative thinking and marketing strategies to understanding financial elements like overheads and profit margins; things that were previously foreign to me.

I consider my occupation as nothing less than a business venture. It not only circulates funds within the economy but also provides for my basic needs. Moreover, it brings a touch of amusement to some individuals, making it more than just a job – it’s a service.

‘If this content doesn’t interest you, feel free to move on. Rest assured that I will continue to use this platform to share food recipes, jokes, and personal updates.’

He concluded, musing: “One day, we’ll all turn into dust, lost in the annals of time. So, I’m seizing the moment and embracing life with vigor.

If you feel like passing judgment, by all means, continue. Although our perspectives might vary, we both still hold our places in our respective realms… for now. 🌐❤️

‘Big fan of both your brownies and your buns x’;

Observe how you’re expressing your authentic self with consideration for both yourself and others. Indeed, it’s a path worthy of emulation.

Everyone goes through changes and growth. I admire that transformation in you. Not only do I cherish you, but I’m incredibly proud of your remarkable achievement of establishing not one, but two businesses within the past year.

John, you’re truly impressive! Your intellect, dedication, and quick-wittedness left me utterly amazed during our collaboration. Keep shining brightly, you’ve got my admiration xx

‘You are a wonder! Wishing you all the love, happiness, and fun in this wild world, John’;

American music icon Michelle Visage also raced to share her approval echoing: ‘You do you baby’.

Another follower expressed: ‘Your performance on Strictly was fantastic, but I’m not comfortable with the low-waist photos. Perhaps you could channel your skills elsewhere for entertainment?’

‘Many men have physiques similar to yours, even my own son, yet I find it hard to understand the need for such public display, though I wish you joy in doing so.’

‘I would certainly advise steering clear – everyone has their preferences. Take care. X’

A different user responded affirmatively, saying: ‘Apologies, yet I believe an image such as this has its proper moment. I’m a loving and proud 70-year-old mom of two wonderful sons who constantly fill me with love. No disrespect meant, x.’

In 2012, John, who was crowned champion in the third season of the baking show, leaving Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood impressed, started using the nickname ‘Jonny Boy’. His profile description reads: ‘A side of me that has not been seen… up until now.’

Three years following his appearance on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, he decided to join OnlyFans and commit to delivering both solo and collaborative content at a monthly rate of £10 or a three-month package priced at £27.

The television personality advanced to the finals together with the professional dancer Johannes Radebe, aged 37. Later on, he admitted to developing romantic feelings for him and felt compelled to step back from his long-standing relationship as a result.

However, John and his spouse Paul Atkins continue to thrive, recently marking their first wedding anniversary, having successfully navigated the infamous “Strictly Curse” by a whisker.

After the cancellation of Steph’s Packed Lunch in 2023, John decided to move on and join OnlyFans, marking an end to his career in television as he declared.

John told TopMob: ‘Since leaving the TV industry, I decided to focus on business.

‘Now I run two fairly successful and exciting businesses.

‘One sells brownies and cookies while the other is a meatier enterprise…

In the finale of Strictly, it was John who was defeated, with Rose Ayling-Ellis from EastEnders being the one who received the glitter ball trophy that year, which was 2021.
