Sam Fox turns 60: Former Page 3 legend’s wife Linda pays tribute to ‘the sexiest woman in every room’ as she shares a fun gallery of photos to celebrate her milestone birthday

Linda Birgitte Olsen, wife of Sam Fox, honored her husband on her 60th birthday with a social media post, fondly describing her as the most captivating person in any setting.

Samantha Fox, a well-known glamour model in the UK, first gained fame as a Page 3 girl at The Sun newspaper for three years.

After ending her career as a model in 1986, Sam launched her music career with her first album. Her single, “Touch Me,” quickly became a hit, reaching the top of the charts in 17 different countries.

Linda celebrated her wife’s 60th birthday with a heartfelt message, calling her a superstar, a playful spirit, and her constant support. She also sweetly added that her wife still turns heads and remains the most beautiful woman in any space.

Honestly, it’s amazing to think about reaching 60! It means a life fully lived – you’ve likely traveled, experienced so much, and built connections with fascinating people along the way. It’s a testament to a life well-spent, and sometimes I wonder how it’s even possible to pack so much into one lifetime!

You have a lifetime of incredible experiences, wisdom, and stories – honestly, it feels like more than one person could gather in a single lifetime! But to me, you’ll always be my sweet little girl.

Being with you is an incredibly exciting ride – there’s never a dull moment! It’s like having the best seat in the house for a thrilling adventure, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Linda also pointed out that it’s a special year for Sam, marking both his 60th birthday and the 40th anniversary of his hit song, “Touch Me.” She noted that the song was a number one hit in 17 countries and made him a household name.

‘Oh… and as if that wasn’t enough, this month is also our 10 year anniversary. 

Traveling the world with you is amazing, and I cherish all our adventures. But honestly, my happiest place is simply being home with you, cozy with our four cats – soon to be five! That’s what feels like true paradise to me.

Thank you for bringing so much love, joy, excitement, and a little bit of delightful craziness into my life. You’re my best friend, my wife, my soulmate, and the love of my life – Happy Birthday! I love you more than words can say.

Linda shared some playful photos of Sam wearing a swimsuit, bringing to mind the revealing pictures she used to take in her Page 3 days.

The album also included photos of Sam and Linda’s vacation, with one memorable picture showing them posing on either side of a camel.

Linda also highlighted a previous trip to Venice, where they stood beside the canal. 

Linda met her wife a year after the death of her former partner, Myra Stratton from cancer.

Two years ago, the model faced a health scare when doctors discovered a lump on her vocal cords. In 2018, she shared the happy news that she had found love again with a Norwegian woman who has two children.

In June 2022, the couple celebrated their wedding with a glamorous, Eurovision Song Contest-inspired event held at the Kings Oak Hotel in Epping Forest, Essex.

She made a grand entrance to the ceremony in a white taxi that was playfully decorated with pink ribbons. A beautiful, heart-shaped flower arrangement sat on the hood, and the license plate cheerfully announced ‘Sam and Linda are getting married, 18th June 2022’.

They were forced to postpone their 2020 wedding due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The bride’s mother, Carole, and stepfather, Colin, gave her away at the wedding. Colin, who had recently broken his femur, walked her down the aisle with the aid of crutches.

Sam first discussed her connection with Linda after exiting the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2017.

She told me she’s fallen in love with someone else. She met a woman a couple of months ago and is very happy. She added that life seems to speed up as you get older.

She also talked about her sexuality during her time in the house, explaining that she hadn’t experienced romantic feelings for a woman until she met Myra.

Sam feels that love is the most important thing in life, and you can’t choose who you end up falling for.

‘If you fall in love with somebody, you fall in love with them. You can’t help that can you.’  

In 2024, Sam was accused of attacking her wife during an argument while intoxicated on a British Airways flight preparing to leave London Heathrow for Munich. The incident caused the flight to be canceled before it could take off.

The initial charge was dismissed, and instead, they received a community service order and a fine for public intoxication.

Several months after the event, Samantha went to a retreat in Thailand and shared that she felt much better, having taken time to cleanse both her body and mind.
