In the HBO series, “The Last of Us,” a recurring Easter egg in Season 2 Episode 3 was “Curtis and Viper.” This isn’t the first time this fictional duo has been referenced within “The Last of Us.” The original mention can be traced back to the very first episode of Season 1.

In the original text, “Curtis and Viper” are first introduced in “The Last of Us Part 2,” during a conversation between Ellie and Dina where Ellie mentions her intention to watch an action movie with Joel featuring these characters. In the HBO series, “Curtis and Viper” share some similarities but their roles develop more extensively, particularly in Season 2 Episode 3.

What is ‘Curtis and Viper’ in The Last of Us Show?

For the first time, Curtis and Viper make an appearance in Episode 1 of The Last of Us. This happens when Joel’s daughter Sarah borrows the DVD of Curtis and Viper 2 from their neighbors, the Adlers. Later in the evening, after Joel returns home from work, they decide to watch the movie together. Why Dina Says ‘Curtis and Viper’ In Last of Us Season 2 Episode 3

In the gripping second season of “The Last of Us,” I found myself once more entwined with the enigmatic duo, Curtis and Viper. As we ventured into the heart of Seattle in Episode 3, Dina reminded us of their shared past. Their presence loomed large as our mission became clear: track down Abby for the harm she inflicted on Joel.

During their travel, the pair discusses their fascination with popular culture to keep themselves entertained. As they approach a sign suggesting they’re nearly in Seattle, Dina remarks how peaceful it is, and Ellie replies, “Indeed, it’s unusually tranquil.
