Jesy Nelson & Zion Foster’s Heartwarming Marathon for Twins Raises Hope

Jesy Nelson, who is currently pregnant, posted an emotional Instagram message from her hospital bed, celebrating her boyfriend Zion Foster for finishing the London Marathon on Sunday.

The 34-year-old singer has been hospitalized since March following a diagnosis of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) – an uncommon health issue that can potentially endanger one or both babies. A fundraising campaign for a charitable organization, aimed at assisting those affected by this illness, has been initiated in Zion’s name.

Recently, Jessy needed an unexpected operation because of complications related to her pregnancy, and medical professionals have suggested she stay in the hospital until a specific stage in her pregnancy is reached. This is due to worries that she might give birth prematurely.

Jesy, viewing the marathon on TV from her personal space, posted a picture of an elated Zion at the finish line, having completed the challenging 26.2-mile race in merely four weeks after rigorous training.

Expressing that she found it difficult to convey just how proud she felt towards him, Jesy declared: ‘I honestly didn’t believe there was more love for you in my heart, @zionfoster, but you’ve gone above and beyond making us and our children incredibly proud!!!’

In just under a month, you managed to prepare for the London marathon, and with tremendous effort, you were able to reach the finish line today, all while raising funds for an exceptional organization, Twinstrust, and for our little ones. Words fall short in expressing how incredibly proud I am of your achievements.

Instead of adding: ‘The most amazing human and daddy, we love you so much! Baby, you shattered the London Marathon!!!’

You could say: ‘Oh my incredible person and dear dad, we adore you beyond words! Little one, you absolutely crushed the London Marathon!!’

While an exhausted Zion replied: ‘Can’t believe I actually completed it… LOVE YOU’

Before the race, Jessy declared that he was running “to support our little ones” and to fundraise for the Twins Trust charity, an organization dedicated to aiding parents with multiples while also enhancing maternity care and conducting relevant research.

From her hospital bed, Jesy shared a picture while tuning into the BBC’s marathon broadcast, confessing that she found herself overcome with feelings.

This morning, I’m overflowing with emotion, knowing that my darling is embarking on a marathon run – not just for our little ones, but also in support of the incredible work @twinstrust does. Zion Foster, my heart swells with pride as I watch you take this journey. You’ve got what it takes, my cherished angel. You’re making us all so incredibly proud!

On Friday, Zion and Jesy posted a video where they displayed Zion’s Marathon t-shirt with great pride, appealing to their followers for additional donation contributions.

Jesy appeared emotional as she told her partner she had no doubt he would finish the 26-mile course, emphasizing that he was doing this for their little babies, as well as all the families experiencing similar hardships, and everyone who has endured what they and others have gone through, or even more.

Last week, during his initial interview following their challenging pregnancy period, Zion shared about the couple’s optimism for the health of their twins. He also expressed admiration for the resilience displayed by his newborns in their struggle to survive.

He shared with The Mirror, “They’re filling us with such optimism that they will emerge in good health. Jesy and the twins have overcome so many challenges during this pregnancy. There were instances when we weren’t certain we’d reach this point.

Zion mentioned that he and Jesy seem familiar with the tots since they’ve already been through so much together.

He mentioned that their “unparalleled strength” stood out, then went on to describe the infants as both “strong” and “courageous.” Furthermore, he revealed his intention to complete the marathon in honor of them, considering them to be the “most significant aspect.

As Zion pondered, he recalled the challenging period he and Jesy experienced during the pregnancy, expressing his hope that their children would continue to thrive and be born in perfect health.

He commented: ‘The most challenging time was undoubtedly the surgery. However, having successfully navigated that hurdle, each day brings a little more improvement, which only adds to our joy. Each passing day means more growth, and that’s something we eagerly welcome. We hope for continuous growth, growth, growth so they can emerge as healthily as possible.’

The artist known as The Boyz hitmaker is currently seven months into her pregnancy, and medical professionals preferably want her to carry on for at least 32 weeks more before giving birth to the babies.

Zion mentioned that he and Jesy are eagerly wishing the twins could remain indoors for an extended period, since the singer is still considered ‘preterm’.

He expressed: ‘I believe we’ve made it through the storm a bit, but she’s still premature, so we know they need to continue being cared for. However, considering where we were before, we are incredibly grateful and simply taking things one day at a time, hoping they can stay as long as possible.’

I’ve shared that we’ve grown exceptionally close through our shared struggles, and our mutual support has only strengthened my conviction that we were destined to be together. In essence, it feels as if we were crafted specifically for one another.

Jesy and her partner Zion revealed to fans in a video that she’d been diagnosed with TTTS in March.
